Cause it is funny.
I am sorry, that is a classic and hilarious video. More so because Janice had no idea what was going on and cracking up non stop.

That's awesome. But there's one thing I don't get—if Cedar Point's SlingShot doesn't have one of those ball cages surrounding its passengers, why do they show it having one in the sign and the park map?
^ Oh, that makes sense, haha. :) And come to think of it, the park map does show some errors regarding the rides' appearances (like Iron Dragon still having white supports and depicting TTD with a 450-degree spiral), so it really shouldn't surprise me that they messed up with SlingShot as well.
Although I can't help but notice that, for SlingShot's page on the CP website, they used a picture of an existing installation without the ball. Eh, wacky things happen, I suppose.
If there's one thing I can consistently observe about the PointBuzz audience, it's that it tends to be cheap.

The one at Kings Island was at least $25 when it opened, probably more. If you want to ride it when it is new, you have to pay a little more. Doesn't seem so bad to me. I think the Xtreme Skyflyer price is the one which is too high considering it has been there a long time.
