Tony just tweeted he finished up another PointCast and said he hoped to have it up in a couple of days. I'm guessing it might be about Slingshot.
Im ready to give it a try.

The pieces seemed to be ready, but I think the next step is installing whatever light package it's going to have. It definitely doesn't seem like it'll be ready for another month......but I suppose anything is possible.

This must be the year of optimism in the industry. "We're hoping to have Goliath ready by Memorial Day." :)

It seems Slingshot is moving very slowly with the contraction process. The station looks to be done but the tower has been the same since opening day! I know other pieces are in the Gemini lot but what's the holdup?
I don't see this opening in June. Maybe the tower assembly isn't a long process, but I think they are pushing the June opening at this point.

Just Sunday, it appeared as though a good portion of both towers was assembled in the Gemini lot

Those towers are probably pretty high. I wonder how they plan to move them over there? You would think they would be assembled at the location.
The towers will go up quick. That probably can be done in a couple of nights.

Tony's latest blog post is live. It covers Slingshot. Some items still remain waiting for delivery. Then testing and licensing then it will open.
I feel like it won't be until early July when it opens.
About pricing, I think it will be the same for Skyscraper. $10 for 1 person, and buy 1 get one free with Platinum Passes. But since this ride is in the park, which will attract more people, the price will probably be much higher.

That sounds about right. They might also charge less if you ride before noon.
However, I'm still confused as to how Ripcord charges $30 for a single rider, while the Xtreme Skyflyer at Kings Island has charged only $5 on weekdays for years. I guess it just surprises me that people would ride for that price given that Ripcord is not exactly a new ride.
So I guess it is possible the cost might be more for Slingshot as well.

I've never ridden Ripcord (it's actually the only ride I've never ridden at the entire park). I just don't want to spend $30.

RipCord is actually $15 per person, and with a a Platinum Pass you get $10 off of your entire ticket.

I am thinking that a move of all the Challenge Park attractions may be a good idea. This would allow SoakCity to expand. There's no doubt that they would experience much more foot traffic. Can anybody give information as to if these attractions are fairly busy after park close?
I see that Dorney does not have a RipCord experience. It would be great to move ours to Dorney and let SkyCoaster build the world's largest inside Cedar Point. I know I would ride it if it was the world's tallest. RipCord seems small in comparison to the newer SkyCoasters that have been built recently.
