That line made me laugh. He makes it sound like there is an "art" or skill to what he does. Anyone can put on a lime green t-shirt and run around the queue all day... especially when the line is short and you can cut through the special access entrance. I also like that the paper contacted CP to ask if it was a record or not. I highly doubt they keep track of who holds the yearly record for rides....

I'm not dissing what Bob does, and I certainly don't have a problem with counting rides (see my signature), but I don't think there's any need to put him on a pedestal.

What happens if Bob claims its an art? I agree with Josh on the fact you do not need to place him on a pedestal though.

i think SR Bob has an addiction. albeit it's not crack or heroin, but an addiction to the endorphin rush of riding on roller coasters, an addiction none the less. but it is a spectacular sight to see someone his age so captivated by a ride. every time i see him i think about what he must do in his time away from CP. maybe he plays a lot of rollercoaster tycoon? lol

Probably has these set up in his basement for practice.

Was at CP yesterday and got to watch Bob 1st hand-and he does have no consideration for anyone getting in his way to jump back on the ride.

I already knew that he was pretty inconsiderate from watching him in years past, but apparently that behavior is continuing in '09 :(

Was considering making a shirt for Ben that says "Single Rider Ben" and one for my hubby that says "Married Rider Eric" but figured Bob wouldn't get it anyway.

However bad his behavior is he is one of the nicest people to talk to, he told me"I'm retired and mow lawns." on the other hand single rider 2 is the most cocky wannabe ever. I was stuck next to him waiting for Maverick ERT last year; we got into the Dragster pulls 4 g's no it pulls 1.5g argument this led to him saying"I worked on an aircraft carrier and I should know." ugh

Is he the guy with the neon yellow shirt that says single rider? If so I rode MF with him opening weekend.

Talking nice and then acting another way is not a very desirable characteristic in a person....

I just hope old Bob tries this with me one day... Ask Bob if he has medical insurance coverage for early August if I get back up and he pull this crap while I am in line. Nothing like a little trip into the brake run....

Yeah.. Bob runs fast and gets through the crowd fast, but I've yet to see him push anyone or run anyone over. I talked to him for an hour and a half before the park opened on Saturday. He's a pretty nice guy if you ask me.

I agree with Dvo. I do not know him very well but from what I have seen he only runs pretty fast back to the ride entrance. No worse than a 16 year old would do. If you ask me I would just say he is trying to have fun. Peace, Mikey

I saw him in line on saturday. I also saw millennium man. Everyone around him was keeping their distance. I think it is wrong to treat him like that but the people that are always there know he wont bother anyone. when we were in the station waiting in line for the front car the ride ops were doing their normal woos for him. It was a good time.

The one op said "keep all hands arms and whoos inside the car"haha
