Not only have I scanned my pass multiple times in the same day at Cedar Point, I have scanned it at multiple parks in the same day. I have been to Cedar Point & Canadas Wonderland, Cedar Point & Wildwater Kingdom, and Cedar Point & Kings Island in the same Day. I can't remember, but I may have been to Kings Dominion and Carowinds in the same day too. I've also been to more than one six flags in the same day.

Or just scan your pass every time you go in.
As has been pointed out several times in this thread, that does not always work.
Why would it not work? Also if someone is vehemently opposed to getting a stamp on their hand because they can't get the ink off, then he or she should take their chances with the season pass multi- scan.
Read my post above from last Friday. We left without intentions of coming back in. Had to come back in to go to Guest Services because the Season Pass center was closed. Two of our passes scanned fine. The third one threw a "No re-entry" error.
There are other posts throughout the thread of passes scanning for re-entry at one gate just fine and then not scanning at another. Or some passes never re-scanning properly. I don't know what the problem is, but it does not always work.
When I go in and out to eat at Famous Daves, I've re-scanned with no issues.

Sorry Altor, thought I reread everything. I've multi-scanned several times. Never a problem. I don't understand why they wouldn't allow a platinum pass to scan multiple times a day. But if I were that opposed to getting a hand stamp, I think I'd take my chances and inconvenience a supervisor if necessary.
I agree. I don't like Fast Lane either. So, I make sure to inconvenience the ride op, everybody at the gate behind me, and a supervisor every time I try to enter the Fast Lane queue without a wristband. The only person inconveniencing the people in line is the person who decided to implement Fast Lane. Absolutely 100% Cedar Points fault. And it may take a supervisor being inconvenienced enough to get it fixed.
They do tell you to get a stamp when you leave the park. If you don't do that, than you take the risk of the pass not working. Whether some passes multi-scan or not is not important. That is a feature they don't advertise and they tell you to get a stamp. It is not CPs fault if you rely on a feature that was never advertised to work.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
Presumably they want to give that perk to the boaters since they frequently come and go from the park to the marina, sometimes multiple times a day. Just a little something extra because you invest a nice amount of money to make CP your summertime home. It is not a technical issue as far as I can tell, it is just how policy is.

I don't see what the big deal is to the park about letting you scan your pass multiple times in a day. You paid for unlimited visits in the season. It shouldn't matter how many times you scan your pass in a day. As long as it comes up valid, you should be allowed in.
