I saw bring back Hana Barbera cartoons.
Is there still a Hanna-Barbara land at Canada's Wonderland?

Bring back Bearenstien Bears...Please, I miss them. :) Who can remember going into their treehouse and playing aound?
Somehow, I remember that... WAAAY back when. When was that removed, mid-90s? The house is (for me) one of those faint fuzzy memories you have of good times when you were younger, back in the Kiddie Kingdom days :)

I don't think anyone has said this yet, so I'll go ahead and say it. I think they should use the nicktoons at geauga lake, because that would help distinguish it from cedar point. they're close enough that geauga lake would benefit from having a different "mascot"

Castaway Bay Lifeguard 04-05
Not side-by-side, but I could see them in the same park. I could see PEANUTS as remaining as Cedar Point's "mascot" and top draw, but with a Nickelodeon area perhaps at the current Peanuts Playground.
Im really scared for Cedar Fair right now. They are going through ALOT of changes and I hope that there eyes werent bigger than there stomachs. It would be so cheesy to have nickelodeon characters running around Cedar Point. I dont believe it fits the parks atmosphere AT ALLL and woul truly be a disaster if they decided to go this way.

I worked in Bear Country and then in Camp Snoopy when it was new. When things were being discussed to bring in the Peanuts characters, I was told by my supervisor that with the Peanuts licensing, they were not able to have any other characters at the park at the same time.

Keep Snoopy in Camp Snoopy, and re-theme Kiddie Kingdom to Nick stuff.
I like that idea.

I agree that they should keep Snoopy at Cedar Point, but having the "Nick" brand name in the Kiddie Kingdom could be a good move for the park.

I think switching to a Spongebob theme at the water parks would be cool.
That gets my vote!
Snoopy needs to stay at Cedar. He had to be the most popular schultz character and has staying power. He's also not the least bit intimidating. Believe or not,one of my daughters teen friends is terrified of Spongebob. Not kidding!

Whatever brings in the most cash is what they will do because thats really what they are there for in the grand scheme of things. I doubt they will keep licenses for both set of characters.

From my kids' perspective (ages 9 and 4), I think they would rather see Nickelodeon characters than Snoopy. They didn't even know who Snoopy was until they seen him at CP. Maybe adults like Snoopy because that's a cartoon character they can relate to. But, the young kids now relate more to Nickelodeon characters and I think would enjoy seeing them more.
However, I doubt that CP would change anything because it would probably cost them too much money. What about the Snoopy Boutique? What would they do with that?
Nothing is more priceless than seeing the face of my 9 year old daughter the first time she ever rode a big roller coaster.
Nick is a HUGE draw for kids. I personally think the switch from Peanuts to Nick characters would benifit the entire chain.
Coaster Fanatic Since 2003
I didn't know that the rights to the Nick characters were included with the Paramount deal.
I admit that I'm slow.
