Everything about that drone clip, from the description, title, everything just screams "I'M NOT TOUCHING IT"

Sooo many cars it's amazing to see that much traffic at the park. Must have been a Saturday. Was a beautiful night there tonight.
That footage is actually from Sunday afternoon (6/11/17). I was there that weekend and my camper is not on the campsite, so it must have been taken after 12:00pm on Sunday. We drove by all that traffic on our way out wondering where all of them were going to park. On Saturday, the CP Police were actually parking people on the grass behind our campsite because all the lots were full.
Spent all day there Sunday and the waterpark lot was packed and the main lot was probably 75-80% full. But Point was very tolerable with most rides having little to no wait. I think the usual 3 (MF, Maverick and Valravn) were all about an hour but almost everything else was a walk on/station wait. CPS however was slammed.
Next year it will be the usual 4. I think MS2 may have even longer waits and may have a separate fast lane price.
I was there Tuesday and Wednesday and experienced the same. Except the usual three, short waits for all rides. CPS was slammed, but I'm sure not like it was over the weekend.
I spent most of Tuesday being lazy, taking in rides whenever I felt like it. It was so freaking hot with high morning humidity that eventually burned off. I left to go to CP's Express to get my room and forbade myself to lay down. I washed up, changed clothes into fresh, less sticky clothing, and went back. I took Sky Ride directly to Melt and had a few at the bar. Then it was "oh crap, I've only got an hour 1/2 left!" So I hurried outta there, smoked a cig, rode Power Tower Up, TTD, 3 same-seat rides on Magnum (which was rockin- so freaking fast on the no-trim turn around), Flying Scooter, Monster, and 2 laps on Valravn. It was a fast, fun end to a very long day.
MSv2 will have very very long lines. There's no way to know right now, but the idea of a special FL++ charge is interesting. Take my money, please. Hatin' the waitin'.
IMO, the capacity for this coaster should be pretty good, considering the faster runtime as a result of the quicker layout and the likely continuation of 3-train operation (since the MCBR has remained). If they break the RMC mold and go with 7-car trains (like MS had previously) instead of 6-car trains, then throughput would likely be an improvement over the old ride because of the quicker runtime and therefore quicker dispatches. I'm not expecting this ride to be an absolute people-eater like Raptor, GateKeeper, or 3-train Gemini, but its capacity should likely be able to surpass the lower capacity rides like Maverick or possibly even Millennium Force. Keeping all that in mind, with a good double-down on marketing I could definitely see this ride becoming the new Millennium Force or Top Thrill Dragster, with people coming in from all over the world to ride this beast. I'm not quite sure we'll see the frequent 3- and 4-hour waits like those seen for MF and TTD in their opening seasons, yet I definitely wouldn't be surprised if the waits get there. All in all, make sure to bring a hat, a good book, and plenty of sunscreen. The waits ahead look to be very lengthy for the visitor, and very profitable for the company.

How was your stay? My wife and I are visiting Express in a few weeks and I was just wondering how the new rooms are.
Nice. The new pool area is beautiful with lots of seating and it looks like they're set for crowds in there. Closing off the open end with the new building helps give it more of a resort feel.
The rooms are nice too, in fact they're really similar to the remodeled Breakers rooms. New tv, fridge that works, no smoky smell. I've been there twice now, the first week the room was 68 bucks and this week they were 125.
I'm always suspicious of seasonal hotels with high turn over. I'm glad my Express experiences have been early season, at least it's still fresh and not worn out.
The Youtube channel "Ohio Valley Coasters" just posted a new video a couple of hours ago clearly showing that there will be a third inversion underneath the first inversion that appears to be a complete 360* roll maybe 20-30 feet high and then more ledgers below that roll which are very, very low to the ground. The ledgers for the roll are shown clearly around 1:50-2:10 in the video..... There is going to be a lot of things happening inside that maze of support structure between the second and third laps... So excited! Anyone made a new POV simulation with everything we now know up to this point?
New to the Pointbuzz and joined because I wanted to see what everybody thought of this that I came across? I have a pic that I saw earlier with all of the specifications (name, height, # of inversions, etc) of the Mean Streak renovation, just don't know what I have to do in order to post the pic here? I'm sure it's easy to upload pics on here but oh well. Obviously do not know of it's source or authenticity but still is worth looking at. Looks legit as far as it's specifications when looking at what has been done so far during the construction process at the park.
^ Not that I don't think suspect this to be some kind of trolling attempt, but if you really must know, upload your pic to Imgur or some other image hosting site, then post a link of it back here.
Not here to troll at all, just found this and feel it's worth the discussion and look. Like I said... It could be nothing and not legit, here it is. Thanks for the help with image. http://imgur.com/a/00qz5
It's a bunch of educated guesses by someone that has followed construction closely, that wants hits on his instagram page. Nothing more, nothing less.
This info is just relayed through an Instagram account with no details about where it comes from. The information seems too detailed to be believable. For example, it says there will be no bins for loose articles in the station and even gives details about theming. Those details most likely wouldn't even be decided or finalized yet. The Valravn area wasn't even finalized until a few months before opening.
^^^What Renegade said.
I'm literally laughing right now. Why would they already be saying that ride ops will check the lap bar but not the seat belt.
2018- Raptor
CP Top 5- 1)MF 2) Maverick 3) Gatekeeper 4) Top Thrill Dragster 5) Raptor
And for this important info we could just look at the many, multiple times it's shown up on Facebook.

That was actually me who took that video. I noticed the roll nearly a month ago, and that was something I was trying to highlight a lot. The video wasn't the best because it was the first time filming with my new camera, so it'll get better every time. I'm planning on taking a video every week assuming there is noticeable progress with the ride.
CP Top 5: 1) Steel Vengeance 2) Maverick 3) Magnum 4) Raptor 5) Millennium
