IMO " they're coming" is referring to the answers to the questions everyone wants to know, whens it opening, how tall, fast and long it is.
For those who think it will be done earlier, i guess you missed my earlier post in one of these threads. RMC always does all the bracing after the track is complete. Its going to take them atleast 4-5 months just to add the bracing to support the extreme forces the train will put on the old structure.

I have a feeling that the "They're coming" tease has something to do with the trains.
Yep; more or less my thought from the beginning. I would think it will be tied into the name in some way. They are wild and unruly...lots of wild westy ideas one can envision here.
For myself, this is the most interested/excited I have been for a new Cedar Point coaster since Millennium Force, although time plays a factor into this for me. My wife and I found ourselves at Six Flags Great Adventure the year El Toro opened, and for the first time I had a favorite coaster that was not at Cedar Point. Due to the experience, I walked away firmly believing that it would only be a matter of time until Cedar Point demolished Mean Streak and installed something similar. How could they not?
Now obviously this predates the dawn of RMC, but that is more or less how long my brain has been waiting for this to all unfold.
Promoter of fog.
Well, really. The discussion about remodel/conversion/do something please with Mean Streak has been going on for years. Now it's happening- everyone's wish and dream is unfolding before our eyes.
That's why I don't understand the indignant impatience about it that some display. Good lord, how long have you waited already? And I guess I understand the desire to know, but opening day of 2018 will come no sooner and no later than already scheduled, right? Not much to do about it right now but sit, keep up, relax, and enjoy.
If I was in charge I'd keep a calendar and for every trolling comment about how the marketing team is doing everybody wrong, I'd push the announcement date back another day. Yup, that's what I'd do.
I know it's already been over a week since CoasterMania, but I just got around to uploading my pictures. Here are a few I snagged of RMC Mean Streak, both some close ups of workers installing ledgers and doing other various things as well as some angles from the cruise. If you want to read more about the day and see plenty more pics, check out my full trip report and gallery here: http://thrillsawait.weebly.com/ . This coaster is going to be amazing.

Looks like more work is being done on the lift hill.
New youtube drone footage gives great new views. Especially of both sides of the third lap. You can make out the exit from the structure of the second hill, third lap. You can also see some footers that run parallel to the double tracks as the train enters the third hill structure on the third lap. Let alone you can see some AMAZING views of the park in general. It helps to screen shot the video and then zoom in.
Well, I found out 2 possible lengths of MS 2.0, which will be accurate within about 300 feet.
It will either be 6,050 feet or 4,570 feet. A picture I took of this was kinda inconclusive because of bad lighting, and I won't say how I did it until I get a better picture, but let's just say it's pretty likely to be accurate.
CP Top 5: 1) Steel Vengeance 2) Maverick 3) Magnum 4) Raptor 5) Millennium
