He's run away again. Will he come back as worked44days - or maybe beenanasshole7330days?
I think the question that should be asked is...................

When do they throw the pickles at you?

Before you cast that stone in your hand, make sure there isn't one aimed at you....

Although my posts are not up to the standards of this board, sometimes they make it through so I really can't complain. Like everyone else I can't wait to ride this new monster, will buy season tickets when my cash flow permits and make many trips to CP!

Wow, it's amazing how cliquish this site is. CoastaPlaya, shame on you, especially, for some of your comments. This thread has really opened my eyes, and has left a bitter taste in my mouth. Hopefully this thread is the exception.

And before you all bear down on me for being a supposed "newbie" I must say that I have been reading this board as a lurker for a very long time, and have had a lot of experience with message boards and users.

My only other question is: Why is this site is so adamantly against "competition"? They're all fan sites. What's wrong with even mentioning other webpages? Such insecurity is rather peculiar.

Now I hate to leave the discussion on such a note, especially when the initial point of the thread was to create a laugh, but I just had to come out of my shell and speak my mind.

Bash away...

Wow, more and more folks are realizing the inherent faults of a good deal of the posts on here. Keep it nice. Just because you don't see these people face to face doesn't excuse you from the common courtesies we are supposed to extend to our fellow humans. The sad thing is that when this response is posted it will be systematically insulted.
Please, prove me wrong.
Shame on yourself, hudkina, for lacking a sense of humor. Isn't it funny that Raptorgeist knows a joke when he sees one? Why can't you? Why are other regular readers laughing out loud and still other posters sending me thank-you email for making things fun around here?

I have a better idea--why don't you stop wasting time bellyaching? Any knucklehead can moan and squeal. If things are so horrible, show us what a good time looks like. Post something of substance that other people will enjoy reading. Let's see something productive. Show us what the 'good stuff' looks like. Go on, we're waiting...

Oddly enough, I've been waiting for something new, and intellegent for quite some time. Apparently, this is becoming the CP Jesters & Hecklers Forum. I haven't seen any informative posts in here since the day the ride was topped.

Having said that, it is my opinion that a good portion of "us" need to practice what we are preaching, stop preaching to the choir.

Competition has nothing to do with it. If you've been around forums long enough you'd know that if you allow that kind of crap to go on that every little brat with a GeoCities site plugs their site ad nauseum, and nobody wants to read that. Furthermore, I don't want to pay for it.

I might be insecure about my DDR skills or my coaching ability, but I'm sure as hell not about the way I run this or any other site.

blasting off in 132 days.................

I guess I will put my 2 cents in. I am going to say I post at that other site quite often, but I read these posts alot as well. Cedar Point is my Favorite Park, but I know there are other parks and other rides I would love to have the chance to ride. One ride in particular is X! I post at the other site as it is laid back and more fun loving. This site is great to learn more about CP and some of the things going on at the point. I believe we should treat everyone as a coaster fan and not a military opponent. Raptorgeist did post this first. there is no doubt about it. But I think some credit needs to go to the person who brought it here to share with those who dont know where the other site is. I would put its name in this post but for some reason the moderators here eliminate and delete it so you have to find it for yourself. Thrill of the inernet is nomatter where you go you can find a network that will let you post your opinion if you dont agree with the moderator it doesnt mean you will get attacked.
