Ride Info That Has Been Leaked Out

Well, they take their TOS very seriously at (site in question, cough). Members have been banned for not following signature requirements. The TOS there also states that leaching images is not allowed, and if a member does it, the post is edited and they are warned.

1) The site you linked to allows image leeching.

1. No they don't. (Site in question) clearly states so in their TOS.

They don't?

It's be cool if that happened...but still kinda corny.

It's been there since yesterday morning. How often do the moderators check one of the most popular threads on their site?

I don't know, ask them. I'm sure they've got better things to do than monitor threads hour by hour for leeched images. I reported those leeched images, BTW.

So do I.

Meanwhile in the real world there were restaurant jokes floating around here long before anything was visible behind the wall. I was joking about it back as far back as May, except calling it Stuckey's was so much funnier. There were stories about Blue Food and Fun before that, and even Jan Witherow was doing the McDonald's thing a few weeks back.

Mildy amusing? Maybe. Original? Hardly! Been there, done that again and again. Don't apply for the Nobel Peace Prize just yet.

Wouldn't the Pulitzer be more appropriate? I thought was a pretty bad attempt at humor. Maybe it's just me...

I just realized that several burger chains all have a variation of the red-white-yellow color scheme--McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's. Weird. Maybe there's psychological a connection between that color scheme and likeability with the public.

Maybe it's just of those "urban legend" type things but I was always under the impression it had something to do with ketchup & mustard (red & yellow)

Come to think of it the track is also white (mayo).

Condiments: The Ride?

Its funny, because you guys think I'll be offended if you didn't enjoy the article. The truth is, I could care less. Its just something I whipped out in about 10 minutes in spite of boredom. Its also funny how this didn't get any negative comments until I came in.

I also don't care if its original, though I might add that it WAS original on the forums I wrote it for. You see, some people like to talk about all parks, not just Cedar Point.

I guess that just shows how far behind the times the other forums are.
Are you going to go away now? Cuz, that'd be nice. You see, some people like to talk about Cedar Point on a site that is dedicated to ... *gasp* ... Cedar Point.

A site about other parks? Oh, I get it. We call that CoasterBuzz...a far more popular site and home of much, much funnier stuff. You wouldn't even make the Junior Vigilante crew with that material, much less the Peanut Gallery.

You mean I won't make the "peanut gallery??" Dear god, whatever shall I do?? Personally, the only thing I find funny about Coaster Buzz is that ... well, I've never really seen anything funny on it.

I didn't want to start anything, I just came here to make a quick comment. But you guys had to play "attack the new guy from the other forum." You're more immature than the immature kids at (site in question.)

How'd you guess? Wednesday always has been Immature day and tomorrow we do Petty. I think Childish Day is Friday, right?

Just a reminder; the moderators can do whatever they want. They don't have to follow any particular rules, or even be consistent in applying the "rules" that they do follow. As they are not governmental entities, they are not required to provide a forum for free speech. If the style of moderation appeals to you, stick around. If not, don't.

The last few posts were the funniest i read in a while. Why are you fighting about whats funnier. I like CoasterBuzz, But something about it...Its not like GTTP. Personally I like GTTP a little better than CB. But they are both great sites.

How about this, I'm the funniest one here ;)

There, settled it. :)

I wasn't comparing GTTP to CBuzz but CBuzz to Romper Room--I mean (name deleted).

We just said the 'press release 'was fairly amusing, but not all that--and our new friend's tiny, limp ego took over. I guess he expected to be crowned the King of HaHaFunnyLand or something after just one post. Sorry.
