Yes, that's where you will receive your id and go through company and housing training before moving into housing if you're doing that. You then go to your wardrobe and department training appointments as they appear on StarRez

Hi everyone! First time cp employee here. Was wondering if anyone here has worked in the marketing department before, and if so i was wondering if those positions also wear standard cedar point uniforms, or if i should plan on packing business attire for my time at the point. Also any other advice or knowledge from anyone with experience in this kind of position would be greatly appreciated! šŸ˜Š Thanks in advance!

I've never worked in marketing, but from friends who have most of the time you'll wear a standard CP uniform (white shirt with blue stripe down sides and khakis) and occasionally for special events, a shirt for that event.

I process in on May 14th. If I want to go to opening day this year, could they look my name up somehow confirming that Iā€™m an employee even before I get my ID, or do I have to pay full price for the ticket?

If you are not processed in, you won't have your employee ID and are not officially employed by the park yet. Your employee ID is scanned every time you enter the park from any gate.

Hey guys!
So I'm from the Detroit area and my dad was going to drive me me down to help me move all my stuff in on my processing day. My training says it's from 10am-3pm, my dad was wondering if I get to move all my stuff in right away or does he have to wait till after the training?
Thanks in advance!

You'll have to wait until your training is done. The scheduled 5 hours of training is your onboarding, company training, and housing training all in one, and the housing training must be completed before you check in to housing.

Hey, everybody! My name is Elijah. This is my first year working as a part of Live E (as a costumed character) during the majority of the season, last time working at Cedar Point being as a Screamster for Halloweekends in 2015. I've read a few times that all Live E in housing will be housed at Bayside? Is that true for all Live E members or no? Since I was hired in later than most would I instead be placed in the dorms? If anyone can tell me anything it would be extremely helpful! Id like to get everything I need ready sooner than later since my start date as of the moment is May 8th, and some of what I'd bring is contingent with what housing I'd be staying in. Thanks in advance for any information!!!

Elijah, I mean this comment to be constructive and not meant to be taken as criticism, but if you have a time sensitive question that needs an accurate answer, why don't you call CP and talk to someone in housing or from your department? Much more than anyone here, they can give you the information you need without waiting for a reply to your post that may or may not have accurate information.

It's official: I'm working Giant Wheel Triangle (Giant Wheel plus Troika and Tiki Twirl) this summer!

Iā€™m processing in tomorrow (canā€™t wait!) I was just wondering if I would need to wear my white shoes for the training days.

I'm sure they will let you know once you process in. If your schedule is anything like mine, I have new hire on the first day then department check-in before wardrobe the next day...I would imagine you don't need to wear them until you have your uniform.

Iā€™m simply DYING to know how that turned out for you. Would there be a problem with wearing your white shoes anyway? Or were you hoping for a more fashion-forward look on your training day?

I hadnā€™t bought my white shoes at the time. I bought them after the first day because I figured why would I need them if I donā€™t even have the rest of the uniform. But yeah it was really dressed down haha. But I was more referring to the ā€œrides trainingā€ since itā€™s directly after my wardrobe appointment.

What's this about needing white shoes? I thought the associate guidelines just said to have some clean athletic shoes?

Shoes need to be 90% white. And most are not clean.
