questions for employees

You mean the same park where employees lay down on the platform and take naps while their Vekoma shuttle coaster cycles?

And supervisors stand on the hitch between cars on one train while simultaneously dispatching the other train and eating food?

Say it isn't so!

That would be the same park.

You mean, in that same visit that we spotted an employee sitting on a trashcan, wearing a garbage bag, at the entrance to one of their rides?? ;)

... you mean the same park where one of the ride operators was yelling "Sorry Folks, We're Closed!" on the midway, infront a ride that wasn't closed at all... oh wait, that moron was on my crew...

Yea, we've had some really bad employees. And to think he wasn't allowed to be fired/suspended for that display of incompetency (among other fine acts, which led him to be known as the worst employee ever, even by the mechanics who had been working there for ten or twenty years). I would have fired him right then and there, but alas, as an ATL, that was out of my control.

Hmmm, lets just end this heated debate and leave it as is. We all have differing opinions, and thats just the way it is going to be. I appreciate what everyone has said, it was great while it lasted...lol

Well, ending that, I have a different Question. Is there internet anywhere in the dorms or apts?
Yes there is internet access in the rec center at commons. There are I believe 3 or 4 computers there, but its usually packed with people using them or waiting to use them. You can get internet in your room. There are flyers around for local servers, but its dial-up. Also doing that would require bringing your computer to CP and I would definitly NOT recomend that. Lots of stuff gets stolen, its unfortunate but thats the way it is. I found that just checkin my emails on my day off or inbetween a split at the rec center was fine for me. But if you do decide to bring your computer make sure you have a safe place to lock it up.

Would it be safe to put things in your car when you aren't using them? I am just wondering if I bring a laptop or portable cd players if I put it in my car when I am not using it, will it be safe? I realize if I leave it setting out in the front seat it wouldn't be a good idea, but locked in the trunk out of sight? How well monitered are the employee lots I guess is what I am asking.
Ha. The cops like to "hide out" in the employee lot, but not for the reason of safeguarding the cars (although that probably ranks up there on their list). I would not advise bringing anything with you that can not be securely locked in your room or will be visible with you. Your car will be sitting in either the parking lot at CP or employee housing for ~20 hours out of the day so I don't think it would be wise.

I wouldn't leave anything valuable in your car. It's not safe. My car was broken into last season while I was at work.

Yehah, I woulnd't leave anything in your car. I went out to the EVC lot one morning to leave for work to find my passenger side window smashed out. I thought a peice of debris went though since we had a big storm the night before. When i got closed I realized that there weremarks on my door where some one tried to pry it open. Next I noticed my dash board ripped to shreds and my radio missing. I was so mad afterwards. It made me wanna not lock my doors to my car ever again b/c driving with no window sucks when it's hot and you want the AC or you have to dirve home three hours in the rain and the plastic you put to cover it gets ripped off. Oh well, at least no one was hurt.

Brian, now I'm curious...what exactly do the cops do hiding out in the lot?

I think Marlena's possessed again...

The issue of stolen items aside, the heat generated from your car sitting in the sun for 14 or 16 hours probably wouldn't be good for your laptop either (or any other electronics).
