Platinum Pass Questions/Concerns

All right then i have answers!
The Question.
If I purchase a Platinum pass through Cedar Point.com and have it redeemed at kings island do i keep my Cedar Point perks? (early entry and ERT nights)
The Answer.
YES. It dose not matter where you purchase your platinum pass or where you have it processed at. The Platinum pass is "universal" you are able to use that pass for all perks at all cedar fair parks.
I called cedar point season pass center for the answers.
So they are legit answers.

Got my pass processed today. The process took all of a minute. It was super painless. The passes look nice too.

I just got back from processing our passes. we had Kings Island ones, but we were able to chage them to have Cedarpoint on it! The park looks awesome! I can't wait to hit the rides!!!!!!We were in and out within 15 minutes and that included processing my sons' friends!

I love the look of the passes. WAY better than last years. At least it's somewhat "platinum" and not every color besides platinum. I don't care if it does look like a kid photoshopped it, it's still better than last year.

I think I'll exchange my KI pass for CP's. :)

I couldn't stand last years.....it was lacking pizazz and umf! And I swear that child on the card was following me with her eyes whenever I'd look at the pass.

I was told by what I consider to be an unreliable source that you need to take last years pass and your 2009 voucher to the season pass office to get your 2009 pass. I never heard this before and haven't found anything on the CP site mentioning needing last years pass.

We are going tomorrow for our passes. Can any of you that already have your 2009 passes shed some light?

Why would you need last year's pass? That would imply that you could only get a 2009 pass if you had one last year, and that doesn't make any sense.
