Platinum Passers or regular passes, you are all fools if you are entering at the main entrance. It is easily the furthest away from all the ERT rides (save Raptor,) has the most people and is the only one that makes you jump through two hoops (main gate then PP check rope) to get into the park. You can even still park your car at the main gate and walk to a better gate!
The only gate you can walk to by parking in the main lot is the marina gate.

^Exactly, and it is a far better choice then the main gate. Its closer to MF and Maverick, and has a whole lot less people. Of course I brave the somewhat larger crowds at the Magnum gate because having less distance between my car and the CP and Soak City enterance, and because I always end my day at Magnum and walking back to the main enterance after that is a drag.
This will be my first year purchasing a platinum pass and I'm getting it processed in April. I was wondering, once it's processed, can I then use it for other Cedar Fair parks? Or does the first time need to be at Cedar Point? I bought it via CP website.
Thanks
Once its been processed (or even before if you have the voucher) it can be used at any park. You don't have to use it at your "home park" first.

This may seem done but here goes...I'm planning on going up to Cedar Point to process my platinum pass and I already have the voucher and everything, so I just need a card. But my brothers don't have a voucher yet. Will they be able to purchase the pass and fill out a voucher there in April?

Can't Wait!!!
I was looking to buy mine this weekend and was looking at Geauga Lake because it is closer to my house for processing. While looking I found a mail in form that lists the price as $150 http://wildwaterfun.com/_upload/2009%20preseason%20processing%20sched.pdf but on the site and Cp's it says $160. Which is it?

That stinks! I mean pass holders pass the price to have some extra fun, now it is like we are cattle!
Well most season pass holders end up paying less per admission so CP is losing money on them. Why should they treat them better if they're losing money?

It is really taking them along time to announce the discounts and other pointperks for the season.

Ok here is a question. If i purchased a platinum pass from the Cedar Point web site and have it processed kings island do i lose my Point perks bacause its then considered a Kings Island Platinum pass? Or don't it matter?

All Platinum Passes, regardless which park they are purchased/processed at get the bonus advantages at all Cedar Fair parks.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
I know that I went to Kings Island yesterday! I had to process my pass down there in order to get in! I was told that I can chage it back to a Cedarpoint pass if I would like when I am up there! Now I spent an hour and a half to get the pass process and I do plan to take my nephew on Wednesday to process his, but it still was a mess to process my pass down ther because I bought them at Cedarpoint! I hope that they get there computer system kinks out next year so it will be smoother to process the passes at any park even if you buy them at a different park! I know that because of stffing and money, they won't open the processing at Cedarpoint any eariler, but it would be nice if they would have at least a couple od days to let people process their passes if they intend to go to other Cedarfair parks tha topen earilier so it won't turn into a long wait in lines! I wish that Cedarpoint was farthersouth so it could open eariler! It was a blast to ride coasters in April!

At least you were able to get your pass processed. A friend of mine spent an hour or two getting the run around between the pass center and guest relations and still never got his processed. He was happy enough that they just let him into the park and refunded his parking. Year after year I continue to be surprised by how badly CF fails when it comes to standardizing their pass systems. Somehow Six Flags manages to do the same thing incredibly well.
Oh, and Diamondback was amazing, but I'm sure there's plenty of discussion about that going on elsewhere.

Diamondback was awsome! I love B&M coasters! I know that it was a great addition for Kings Island! I love the way you seat in the car! The theming was cool! I can't wait to hit the Maverick and the Raptor at the point in less than a month!

Yes, there were quite a few people rejected from riding. Unlike most other coasters, it has to do with the size of your legs/thighs and not your gut or waist.
