fnl - the catch is that it will be a fun coaster. It doesn't have to have the the latest gimmick train design (Mantis) or be a one-trick pony (TTD) to be fun. There's only 3 things it needs to do:
Be open to more than just the extreme thrill seekers.
Be reliable.
Be Fun.
And it doesn't need to be super tall and super fast with 80 inversions to hit the last one.

Given the recent announcement of Griffon, and it's surprising new floorless trains, it makes me wonder: could Intamin have whipped up a floorless train for their coasters? And if so, could Maverick (or whatever this new ride is called for those who want to be technical) be the first coaster to utilize them? That would certainly be a unique drawing point for the coaster, in lieu of any truly "record breaking" features. Going through this coaster with it's many twists and turns close to the ground and water with no floor would be quite the fun and thrilling experience! I know we've never seen something like that on an Intamin, but there's always a first for everything! It's certainly a plausible possibility.
Take care and God bless!
djDaemon,
So, I checked the previous pages as you nicely referred & there are no mockups of the whole coaster since that twist went up.
Why don't you just NOT respond to anything that I post since you think I'm ignorant? It'll take the ass out of you & won't make for any stupid arguments on this forum. I haven't repsonded to anything you've said on here since you acted like an ass to me- no matter what I wanted to comment on that subject- so don't respond to my valid question.
"THE Top Thrill Dragster...THE Millennium Force...THE Wicked Twister...THE Magnum! How do you like those apples?!?!?"
There is a mock-up of that half of the coaster here. Just had to look a little.
And watch your mouth - I'm not resorting to calling you names, so I'd suggest you follow suit.
