After being at the site today, I think my crappy photoshop concept is not very far off at all....

I think somebody was trying to explain that those footers' varying heights indicated there would be water around them. I wonder who that was?

A coaster going OVER water does not constitute water "being involved" with the ride, Mr Scott. If that was the case, water would be involved with Millennium, Mantis and Mine Ride too.

And who says its not involved in those rides? I've certainly never argued that.

I didn't put Iron Dragon because it actually mists the trains with water. I'd actually agree that water is INVOLVED with that ride.

I may have a different concept of "involved", but I think it has to engage and/or interact with the part of the ride that moves. Sheikra, for example, has water that is "involved" with the ride.

Mostly, I just like giving Mr Scott a hard time though because he brings up the water so much. :)

But Millennium has misting fans in line that get people wet. So therefore water is involved on that ride too. ;)

No no, I was adding to your list of rides that go over water.

But wait, so now water cannot be involved if it is misted? It has to be sprayed or shot?

What if it showered on you? Or sprinkled?

I think you misunderstoof my post, Coastern3rd. I was stating that I don't believe a coaster going OVER water constitutes water being INVOLVED with the ride. That's why I didn't include Iron Dragon in my list. Water is actually misted onto that ride, so I would agree that water is involved with Iron Dragon. I don't believe water is involved with any of CPs other coasters.

I still believe water will be involved with this ride. And I mean more than just passing over it.

Don't forget Disaster Transport. That flight to Alaska has to go over water somewhere. ;)

Why? You can go around the great lakes, do a little slalom through Minnesota and then not sure about Canada, but I think you could get there without going over water. Just might be a really long flight.

In my personal opinion (not that it's worth much), I think that any coaster that "passes" over water would "involve" water.

If you were to take away the water that's there the ride would lose something. Therefore it involves the water.

Now, whether or not the ride interacts with the water is another story in itself, but i'm leaning towards MrScott's opinion on it.

You're telling me you could fly from Sandusky to Alaska without crossing one river, one lousy lake or puddle? You're quite a navigator! :) I never said a large body of water.

Man, am I good at getting off topic. Is there some kind of award for this skill?

It might take some work (puddles don't count, but ponds do) but it could (maybe) be done. I'd need some pretty detailed maps though. And it could take a while.

^^I'm sure there is but, you probably don't want to receive it.
