Passholder Appreciation Day

We'll be announcing this to most Passholders in the next week or so, but I wanted to give you some advanced notice of this special event.

Sunday, September 7th is Passholder Appreciation Day. To thank you for being our loyal visitors and fans, we've got a few things planned. I think you'll be pleased with what we've come up with:

• Morning ERT on Raptor from 10 - 11 AM (Early Entry rides will open at 11 for Resorts guests.
• Combo Meal (hot dog, chips & soda) for only $5 at the Grandstand Refreshments at Top Thrill Dragster. Must present your Pass for the discounted meal. One per Passholder.
• Scavenger Hunt - back by popular demand! Find the 10 items found on the Scavenger Hunt Map and you could win 30 minutes of ERT on Millennium Force in 2009. ERT is for you and 35 of your closest friends. Admission not included for winner or guests. But hey, you get MF to YOURSELF for 30 mins! Details of this contest will be posted on our website as soon as it's public. There will be a few rules and regulations you'll want to read.
• Evening ERT on Magnum shortly after closing for 1 hour (how's this, Loopy? ;)

This event is open to ALL Season Passholders, Regular OR Platinum. You'll be able to download the Scavenger Hunt Map and read more about the event within the next week or so.

Sounds good to me. I already planned to be there the only problem is that one of us isn't a pass holder so I guess she can wait in the car. ;)

Dang it. We're camping that week before and coming home on the 7th. I don't think I'm going to convince the wife to come home a day early so we can go to the point.

But I'll try. ;)

I have been planning a birthday trip to CP. This just might be the right date. ERT on Magnum...count me in!! Thanks Tony. :)

Is there anyone who would maybe like to car pool on this day? I was thinking about making it my birthday trip. But my one friend who will be celebrating my bday with me doesn't have a season pass. My sister and I are planning on buying them. I know it's late in the season, but I didn't have the money before.

My sister got sick when we rode Raptor 4x in a row. She also dislikes Magnum very much. I think if I went with her on this day, I might not get as many rides on those coasters for the ERT as I would like. So if anyone wouldn't mind me taggin along with them, just PM me.

If not, I guess I will make my sis go. And 1 out of 2 things will happen. She will be unhappy riding Raptor and Maggie over and over again. Or she will have to sit and wait for me to be done. :)

Where are you camping, John? We'll be at Hoffmaster that week (MA on Saturday).

I already planned on being there. This just makes it even better!

I have to checkin for Screamster that day anyway so I guess I will stay up there all day for this...Awesome!

We'll be up at Tahquamenon. Can't wait until Thursday night.

I am now going to be going back to Alabama the weekend of the 7th. No ert on Magnum and Raptor this year for me. :( Maybe next year though. Have fun everyone that goes! :)

Well, I might have the wife convinced to let us come home a day early so we can go to Cedar Point. We'll see what happens.

I would love to go but I'm 2 and half hours away....

I'll be there forsure and I don't have to worry about my friend who doesn't have a pass, he doesn't have enough money to go so. My friend who does have a pass doesn't know if she's going to be working. I'll be going though, with or without her.

I may have to try to make this. Sounds very cool. :)
