Great pics Walt. So now there's a dirt bridge across the lagoon that goes from the Paddlewheel Excursions path to Millenium Island.

And, as feared, trees are being removed. One of the features that made ID fun was weaving through the trees. I wonder now if it will be a bit more exciting weaving past another coaster.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that blue truck backed up in the area of the Troika/Chaos employee break area? If so, they must've done some serious tree removal because that area was never really visible at all. I'm sure new trees will be planted, but some of those big trees back by area 51 across from Magnum have obviously taken many many years to get that large and to provide the amount of shade that they currently do. I've always liked that area of the park because it has a nice mix of shade and sun. I really do not want to see it turn into something like the whole Mantis/MF area where its wide open and there is no shade to be had.

I'm somewhat upset by the amount of trees they have taken out already. Heck you can clearly see Iron Dragon and Mantis from there now! They used to be hidden by the tree cover. I hope that area doesn't suffer the same fate as the MF midway. I guess it might be fun to ride Iron Dragon to get another perspective on that area. They sure have done a lot 4 days though!

As seen in this picture, it looks as if construction is as far up as by Cedar Creek Mine Ride! Thats a pretty expansive area CP is working with for this new ride. It also encourages the idea that it will intertwine with MF.

They better move that truck away from Iron Dragon, just for safety precautions. Cedar Point doesn't want a situation like top gun at PKI.

The area of construction as of this Saturday (7th) looks huge. It's amazing how much space Chaos, PWE, and Troika take up. Right now with all the sand, machinery, metal and what not it is a big eye sore.

All of the construction as of now is on the other side of camp snoopy. I also can't really see it getting any closer to the mine ride than area 51.

I think that they might have mistaken constuction by CCMR for the land bridge that connects the midway to the island.

That looks really weird without Troika, Chaos, or all those trees. Although I'm disappointed in the tree loss, it is encouraging to see they are working pretty quickly. Anyone else think this picture just looks really weird? I never thought they would actually move the weight guessing booth, much less put it next to Magnum's enterance.

That sucks...now whenever I run around to get re-rides, I'll get heckled by an employee!

Let's just hope the employee's at the weight guessing booth figure out we arn't interested after the 3rd or 4th re-ride!

Wow, it sure is going to be noisy in this area next season! I'm going to miss the trees!! :(

CP never was known for making nice and beautiful areas...maybe this is a year for change!

I was joking that that Magnum crew is going to have to break the PA system in that booth so the poor person sitting at entrance doesn't have to listen to it all day! :)

I think they will (or should) move the Guessing Game again after construction has finished.
