NEWS FLASH!!!! Track and supports sighted

I am still thinking dueling. Kristina might be closer than some of us think. This would be great to mark the 25th of Gemini. Honor it with another dueling racer. Of course it would be of a new magnitude.

I am not doubting Kristina, you just can't be so sure either. Basically, she says her uncle is working on this and stuff, and I can believe that, but when she said the ride would be dueling (maybe) but two different heights and speeds, well, that part was hard for me to believe.

Why is it so hard to believe? CP is already offering two choices within one ride with Power Tower.

I dont think you could call it dueling and/or racing if it has different heights and speeds. It is 2 completely different coasters at that point.

Hmmm, 2 completely different coasters adds 2 more to the coaster count. I wouldn't mind seeing that

I really don't think it is going to be dueling. I don't even think I want a dueling coaster. High and fast is what I want.
I was talking to Magnum Maniac while watching them unload the track, and we wondered how many people here would think it was dueling or 2 different rides because there were 2 colors. Apparently, more than I thought.

Just kidding. Like others,I consider WT a filler ride,yes it has track,I just consider a roller coaster something that is longer than 700 feet and uses the same circuit 5 times at that. Basically their last coaster was Millie so we're due. I don't think it will top MF by much if it does at all,but it's coaster time,that's for sure. I'm also sure admission will go up another 2 or 3 bucks too.

Or maybe they're adding THREE coasters in two years. I don't know, you don't know, (well, unless you're currently laughing not unlike an evil genious), and maybe all of 10 people affiliated with Cedar Point actually know what they're planning to do.

I'm not sure I believe the idea that the two rides will be vastly different, but dueling makes sense. I mean, if CP wants to solidify itself as the coaster capitol of the world (by numbers, instead of the current 'quality,' and YES, I know they do not directly compete with SFMM, but 'most coasters anywhere' is one HELL of a marketing ploy).

Of course, if they were to duel, you'd all but have to believe that Jeff's suggestion to look for blue track was just a front. A red ride, and a white ride may be it...

And the supposed overbanked turn supports... There'd have to be more of them or something... :)

Along with Save Chaos, we need pages for Bring back the Pirate Ride and Build The Banshee too!!

I don't remember who first mentioned it, and frankly, I'm too lazy to go look for it... But, I fully agree with the white track playing into the 'theme' of the coaster. I completely see the white track used as a "Finish Line" complete with checkered flags at either side, and running into the station. I don't see this thing being a racer/dueler.

I will admit however, that the two support colors have me stumped.

.... and let's not forget... Bring Back the Upside-Down Funhouse! That one was the best. CP needs some dark rides.

I think they got rid of the dark rides because of the liabilities. Too bad. They were great for family rides. Remeber the big fire at King's Dominion? I think that started a lot of removals. Plus I think riders were messing with the animation inside the rides as well.

Ok, I NEVER SAID dueling....I said its one ride with 2 tracks. 2 totally different tracks, but one ride, I know its a lil hard to digest, but give it a try, you may like it...
