BT = BIG TEASE!
That was an obvious one.

Coaster Fanatic Since 2003
These footers make me beg the question, when do you think we will see supports go up if it is any kind of a roller coaster?
RIDE ON, and ON and ON and ON and ON and ON...
I'll laff if these are footers for light posts.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

So would I, only because the lightposts would probably be about 700' tall with footers that big.
Brandon
Because there is no reason to build a ride now and have it sit for a year? I don't think they're actually beginning to build the ride now, they're just prepping the area.

And by the looks of the footprints in the dirt, the main footer might be somewhere around 3 feet long and 6 feet wide (or at least whats visable in the picture)
It looks like it might be somewhat lager, to the right of the photo there looks to be foot prints in the sand.
I like a good lager but I don't know what a somewhat lager is.

Exactly.
It's just been solved. The new world record breaking 523ft tall light post. The urge to slide 500ft down the lamp post at 130 m.p.h. is unbearable.
hahaha....that would be so funny if those were for some little park improvement.......but they are kinda big..

Anyone else think that maybe they already poured the footers because they already had the construction equipment on site since the demolition of WWL.
Why bring out the equipment, clear the old ride, and leave the cleared site sit for a year when they can easily pour the footers now and let it sit, and start construction later, or give them extra time preparing for a harsh winter next year?
That is true.
Although, I doubt they were like, "Hey we might as well pour these while we are here."
I am sure (since they know what they are doing) it was planned since they are working in the area.
The nice weather helps I am sure.
Well all we know for sure is that this is an early start. Plus, we have to think about how many footers they are actually putting up. They could be pouring footers even past opening day. It all depends on how big this ride is.
As for the equipment, Im sure everything was/has been planned out to make construction easier. They probably have something going to where they use some of the machinery used on Skyhawks construction for use at the WWL site. Ex: concrete machinery.
