News: Cedar Point blog shows footers at WWL site

I'd rather not need a locker...

Last time I went, my buddy brought his Backpack into the park and carried it around, he didn't want to spend money on lockers so he just threw it on top of them!

Well, with a system like that you take your chances. And for myself I'd rather not leave my $300 camera just sitting there.

Cargo pants work wonders when all you carry around with you is a cell phone, camera, and a wallet. :) I hold off on souveniers for the most part until I'm headed out. It's easier that way.

But yeah, I thought the blog was interesting, but I already knew that Lotsapalooza was cooming back and there was a game going next to it. So even though I liked it it was like "yeah, already knew that. Move on to something I don't know please."

So pretty much that midway is just back to what it used to be. How strange that they would close it off like that just for a year.

Who knows? I've heard rumors of a flyer, possible a B&M. Maybe deuling.

What off topic? This is about the blog post regarding footers at the WWL site, not the blog post about the new shops.

I know, but the people who posted above him started talking about the blog about the new shops, so I decided to make a joke of it.

I had a post above his, but I deleted it.

It had something in it about a guy saying he had 'inside info' about there being Tons of Footers in the WWL spot, and into the Swan Boat pond.

I thought it might be a Water Coaster... I stil say it'll be a Floorless Coaster like I've predicted.

Can't we please just have White Water Landing back????

Whatever is in store for the 2007 season, I'm sure CP won't disappoint us. It also seems really likely that they will build a new log ride down the rode, as they recognized their popularity in a conference call. I'm dubious we'll see a new one for next year, but I don't think CP will be without one for too long.

Thats what my two guesses are but I'm leaning more towards a floorless now because I'm sure if the layout is that big where it's going over the swan pond then I can just see it being a Floorless. Plus being that the ride might be called Maverick, I see it more a Floorless.

Like I said before, "as long as its not a flyer".

I want a coaster that I can get off of and want to get back in line for. And a flyer is not that ride.

Floorless would be great, but imo I think its a dive machine.

They mentioned in the new entry that they are planning on adding a new cam "not in the immediate future", but "this season".

I betcha its gonna be the "project 2007 construction cam" added late this season. What do you think?

That would be fun to have during next off-season!

Even though you can't really see anything, I thought it was cool that the new Skyhawk Cam is pointed in the direction of the WWL site.
