Looking at windows live, shouldnt we be able to see Wave Swinger from this view? Maybe it's just hiding behind the trees but that seems like a ride that would be fairly easy to move elsewere just as they did with the ferris wheel.

Not if Wave Swinger looks like this:

After riding SheiKra at Busch Gardens Tampa a week ago, I now hope that it is a B&M Diving Machine!
Its probably not going to be a Dive Machine, but I do second that notion. I really enjoyed Sheikra.
So what's up with Wave Swinger in Walt's photo? Is it being disassembled and moved, or is it normally taken down for winter storage?
Yeah, I think they take all the fiberglass panels off and take it down to nothing. There was a picture in one of the online blogs that showed the panels in storage. I'm not sure what the purpose of that is, but I'd like to know. It's interesting that it is really just a single support pole, kinda of like an umbrella frame.
You know, maybe the weight of snow is not good for it, and that's the reasoning?

If the WWL station is still standing it makes you wonder if the turntable is still there.

They showed pictures in the blog back in November of the turntable being disassembled. I'm guessing its not there.

Also, there's been something that has been bugging me throughout this thread regarding WWL's station. Anyone with more knowledge feel free to correct me...
The turntable is gone. As Jugga mentioned, it was taken out long ago. They took great care to remove it without damaging the building structure itself. The general layout of the station likely has nothing to do with the building's future. That is, if they reuse the station, it doesn't mean its going to be a flume. It could be, but thats no more likely than using it as a restaurant.
White Water Landing's Station:
I'm sorry if this sounds rant-ish or harsh, but looking back over some of the posts leads me to think that many people haven't read through the related threads. And if they have, well then this is just a nice little summary. :)

"Station could be used as anything - even new restrooms, for crying out loud."
Former Frontier Lift station....
I have a question. Are those bars in the picture just rebars to make round footers? I think they are but I just want to make sure.

In all likelihood, yes, they are for round (top only - bases are rectangular/square) footers.
Brandon
It's a footer that could be for anything. I don't know why several people assume it's going to be for a new coaster. Then again it could be, but it is way to early to tell. My hopes are for a brand new flume!
- Uncle Jay
Could even be a footer for the station.
I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.
Given its relative position so close to Thunder Canyon, I think you actually can rule out certain possibilities (like the station)...I dont know. :) But its fun to think about.
Things im betting on? 1. Steel coaster, and 2. modified WWL station will be the new station for the coaster. Beyond that, the skies the limit;)
You know, I understand that the extremely conservative thinkers here don't want to look at these footers as specifically for supports, but I was looking at some pictures of the break run for Tatsu and I noticed a similarity between some footers on the breakrun and the footers in the Register photo. I'll post a link shortly as I'm going to fool around with the picture to get the specifics pointed out.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

I couldn't guess about the manufacturer but I'm sure we can rule out wood. By the way, I'm sure it'll still be called Maverick.
I don't know about you, but I believe it is a B & M yellow and red coaster, and it will (obviously) be steel. It will be placedin the former WWL station, and will be a contender for the longest track, as it will extend out 18 feet past the railroad tracks. The name will be Maverick.
Just a theory ;)

Arguing with a coaster enthusiast is like wrestling with a pig in mud. After a while, you realize the pig enjoys it.
In order to recieve the record as the longest coaster would mean we would have a ugly coaster on the way. There is no way they can get 8,000+ feet of track and still make it look nice. This record talk is a joke. I'm hoping CP lets go of the whole record breaker stuff and advertises a unique type ride. A first wouldn't be to bad either.

Every ride they build breaks some kind of world record...for the past...16 years?
I think thats more or less Kinzel's M.O.
