Yeah, I think they take all the fiberglass panels off and take it down to nothing. There was a picture in one of the online blogs that showed the panels in storage. I'm not sure what the purpose of that is, but I'd like to know. It's interesting that it is really just a single support pole, kinda of like an umbrella frame.
You know, maybe the weight of snow is not good for it, and that's the reasoning?

Also, there's been something that has been bugging me throughout this thread regarding WWL's station. Anyone with more knowledge feel free to correct me...
The turntable is gone. As Jugga mentioned, it was taken out long ago. They took great care to remove it without damaging the building structure itself. The general layout of the station likely has nothing to do with the building's future. That is, if they reuse the station, it doesn't mean its going to be a flume. It could be, but thats no more likely than using it as a restaurant.
White Water Landing's Station:
I'm sorry if this sounds rant-ish or harsh, but looking back over some of the posts leads me to think that many people haven't read through the related threads. And if they have, well then this is just a nice little summary. :)

Given its relative position so close to Thunder Canyon, I think you actually can rule out certain possibilities (like the station)...I dont know. :) But its fun to think about.
Things im betting on? 1. Steel coaster, and 2. modified WWL station will be the new station for the coaster. Beyond that, the skies the limit;)
You know, I understand that the extremely conservative thinkers here don't want to look at these footers as specifically for supports, but I was looking at some pictures of the break run for Tatsu and I noticed a similarity between some footers on the breakrun and the footers in the Register photo. I'll post a link shortly as I'm going to fool around with the picture to get the specifics pointed out.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

I couldn't guess about the manufacturer but I'm sure we can rule out wood. By the way, I'm sure it'll still be called Maverick.
I don't know about you, but I believe it is a B & M yellow and red coaster, and it will (obviously) be steel. It will be placedin the former WWL station, and will be a contender for the longest track, as it will extend out 18 feet past the railroad tracks. The name will be Maverick.
Just a theory ;)

Arguing with a coaster enthusiast is like wrestling with a pig in mud. After a while, you realize the pig enjoys it.
In order to recieve the record as the longest coaster would mean we would have a ugly coaster on the way. There is no way they can get 8,000+ feet of track and still make it look nice. This record talk is a joke. I'm hoping CP lets go of the whole record breaker stuff and advertises a unique type ride. A first wouldn't be to bad either.
