News: Cedar Point blog shows footers at WWL site

I'm hoping to get out to Berlin at least once this summer. I would have liked an SS, but they didn't have any on the lot so I got an LS. It's nice though, quite a bit of kick for a 4 cylinder.

It would be best if they got another family section, with a flume, kiddie coaster, restaurant ect. and a 300ft 4d for the adults.

So CP is putting in the fastest car ride in the world. They moved the train tracks to accommodate the banked turns... Oh and they build the transmissions at CP too. Or do you mean PointBuzz builds the transmissions.

What a waste of space. Would they keep Antiques?

I thought Test Track at WDW was the fastest car ride.

Here's a thought I just had. What if the reason they removed WWL early was because they have more stuff to remove after the 2006 season? What if they were to remove the Antique Cars and Mean Streak(just like Hercules at DP) after the 2006 season to make room for a monster Intamin woodie that could break the records for height, steepest drop, speed, etc.?

^^ I dont think they would get rid of mean streak just yet. Maybe antique cars.

I like the idea of freeing up more space, but I don't think it's necessarily a wooden coaster coming.

Well If they did get rid of Mean Streak ever, they would have enough room to build a real long woodie like the Beast or Son Of Beast. I doubt that would happen though. I think Mean Streak will be around a long time.

I'm sure Hercules had its fair share of fans who were flabbergasted when that thing got the axe.

Ehh....It doesnt fit. Hydra has a much better stroy line.

If it is fake, it's really good but I like to think it's real. I guess I have to wait til April 30th to see, or earlier if they annouce anymore.

It looks real to me, too. But those could be footers for ANYTHING. I hope they are for what I think they are...

Awesome find with that picture! Can anyone tell about where it was taken from? It seems to me (based on the angle of TTD, Skyhawk, and MF, that it is taken from somewhere in or around the old WWL sight, but it looks like it may have been taken in an area closer to the Thunder Canyon/Frontier Inn/Wave Swinger...

Was there an article or just the photo?
