News: CBS picks Cedar Point for latest in "Assignment" series

I agree It was not that good of a story. I was not impressed with it not much about cedar point.

And they pic Iron Dragon to ride, they should of a least picked magnum or something better.

I got the feeling that they wished we had sent them somewhere else, though I think they made the most of it.

Way to go on iron dragon... Should of put him on magnum, mf, ttd, or raptor.

why'd they even use an amusement park as an option if they hate coasters so much?? seems like they would've had a blast at the shuffleboard tournament. LOL!!

TTD wasnt running wed when CBS was there.

Wow, was that pathetic. And I had been looking forward to it for days. It was so bad that my need to comment warranted my first post!

They didn't even MENTION any specifics. If I were Cedar Fair, I'd put CBS on my persona non grata list. There definitely wasn't much publicity to be gained from that piece.

so who's up for sending email upon email to CBS saying they should go back and do a "proper" piece on the park?? :)

I just had a feeling that it was going to be a flop. Two trips up and down the Iron Dragon midway,what a disapointment.

Don't expect much from CBS. They suck.

Wow, what a let down. I was telling everyone all week to watch the CBS news and that CP was going to be on. Real nice!!!! I'm sure people will be swarming to CP now to ride " The Dragging Iron".

If they weren't interested in roller coasters, they could have easily talked about the thousand other things there are to do. I don't ever remember my dad riding a roller coaster (though legend had it that he did ride Mine Ride once :) ), but some of the best memories I have are spending time with him at the park. They could have interviewed me - I would have been happy to share my non-coaster father/son bonding stories about Cedar Point!

If ABC did it, they'd pick 20 year olds to go on MF or TTD instead of a 50 and 80 year old to go on one ride, Iron Dragon.

If anything it hurt CP. They said everything was too wild and too fast and all. That might make the GP not too "get up and at 'em."
