I really like the view the new camera position is providing. And it looks like they've installed a cow for the "Barn"

Yeah, the new Toft's barn sure looks and feels like a Ben & Jerry's... minus a bit of the psychadelic. I do like the new webcam as well... still strange that they haven't addressed Skyscraper. I thought for sure they would at least dedicate a blog post, or even a paragraph to it...

^ Unfortunately, Skyscraper will be opening at a later date due to a construction delay. However, we'll keep you posted on when we'll have it ready.

No offense, but a tie can be salvaged. The view is totally worth the risk ;)

Ties can be replaced. Views from webcams are/can be priceless. :)

I love that camera view. I would have never expected it to be placed on top of Top Thrill Dragster. It's great!

I wonder if the cam is in a spot so they can rotate it to give us a view of the back of the park from time to time, otherwise we'll be staring at Iron McDragonland all summer. Nice view otherwise!

That'd actually be a sweet high-res (widescreen?) wallpaper. What with the front of the park and then water and the earth's curvature... :)

I'm very happy the Dragster cam is back! For those who dont know, there use to be another (older version) web cam up on that level looking in the same direction. But it was shut off and the camera was left up there. Though I'm happy to see it back.

So thanks Tony for taking the risk to bring my all time favorite webcam view back. If I was up there, I would have loved every minute.....even if my hair was ruined.:)

Yeah, isn't it amazing how you can see the curve of the planet from only 400 feet up? ;)

Now I can watch people coming in from the parking lot! That is the greatest webcam spot ever. Thanks T&T! :)

If you would have bought Cedar Fair stock on January 11th you could have a few trips paid for to the point.

Although now the stock is not at a buy time as it hit resistance at $22 a share.

The round earth is definitely cool, and doesn't this view make the park seem a lot more....less used?

Aka...I see room for a coaster or 4 in there.

Also....does anyone else feel that the addition of a dairy themed ice cream shop that is erected completely for an ice cream shop such as Tofts (what goes in where B&J was?)....don't you all feel this is somewhat a long term situation.

The shop looks like it carries many flavors, unlike the B&J.

I really like the new webcam, so much so that I'd like to have at least one maybe two more cameras up there pointing in different directions. Especially one with Maverick in view.

Hopefully this one is protected a little better than the first. I seem to remember the original Top of Dragster cam dying after a year or so due to the beating it took up there.

Well we now can bring our laptops to the point, and if we go in the park late, look at the webcam to see what the line is like for TTD.

Not really on topic but does anyone know how to record the images from the webcams automaticly?
