I forgot that men don't usually wear fanny packs. But they do have some manly-looking fanny packs @ Meijer. :-) They're very convenient for your money, sunglasses & keys.
I can't see anything about a new inversion, Doug. I tried to open it, but my job might be blocking it....which it hasn't done before.

Enough about fanny packs, can't someone answer my question? Por Favor?
Is it just me or is the new inversion going up to the right of the existing one (in relation of looking from the water)? If it is, why isn't it showing on the CP webcam? Shouldn't it be in the center of the cam behind the "bunny hill"?

If you look at the aerials, the webcam is not pointing at the "pond". So, the inversions would NOT be on viewable from the webcam. Sorry man.
edit: Along the same lines, IF the station ends up being where that huge mass of footings are, we won't be able to see that on the cam either. :( *** Edited 8/25/2006 5:50:21 PM UTC by halltd***
Does anyone one know if there is anymore supports at the staging area, and if any more has been delivered same for track too.

No, I was there yesterday and after the inversion the track turned to the left 180 degrees and was facing towards Mean Streak. So you can't see it on teh webcam.

I don't see another inversion on there.

judging by the supports, the second inversion is about 10 ft shorter
Platinum has it's perks. So does living exactly 97.5 miles from King's Island and Cedar Point

Yes there is another inversion going up after the 180 degree turn. You didnt see it because you were there yesterday and it went up today. No you cant see it on the web cam. Yes you can see it on the funcoast cam.

I just found out that fannypacks weren't manly! I've been embarrasing myself for yrs, Arggg.
This superhero theme might work well with Maverick.

The "new pond" I think is going to be a pond. When I was at the park yesterday there was a pump pumping either water in or out of the dug out area.
That is a ditch pump. They have been using them throughout the whole construction process. There are a couple of them. They are geeping the ground water out of the excavated holes. Otherwise because of the low water table the excavated holes would eventualy have a lot of water in them making it a big mess.
If (and I stress the word "if") they decide to put a pond it, filling it with water will be one of the last things they do, and I doubt they would fill it with a ditch pump.

So looking at the webcam, I have not seen much activity (track building) in the past couple of days. Has the assembly slowed down or is it just out of view?
I'm pretty sure it's just out of view. The funcoast cam shows two complete inversions (as opposed to 1.5) and I saw a crane moving around in the air a couple hours ago.
