New this year

While we are at it - don't forget the new screen for the Hot Summer Nights show. The previous one blew down in the off season - and it will either have to be repaired or entirely replaced depending on how badly it was torn up.

I think the new additions sound good. However, I am a bit concerned with the new fountain. I can only imagine how many kids are going to be running through it and slip and fall. Also, knowing how windy it can get on the midway with the wind coming off the bay, I am a little worried as to how much the water is going to spray. Hopefully that has been taken into consideration when it was designed.

I think kids/people running through it is part of the general idea of something called "fun".

I was always surprised they didn't do something to enclose the nice TV in Maverick's line. It was only a matter of time before someone did something stupid and destructive to it. Hopefully they'll take more care with the new ones they're installing.

I'm just hoping they get rid of the Breakfast at Tiffany's Techno Remix they played oh-so-many times in the MF line.... ;)

Anybody else notice that the giant screen on the Iron Dragon midway is still down? Do you think they will replace it or not?

Yeah you have a point. I know Kings Island has TVs in their queues with another box around it. It's like real tough plastic they put around it.

Just to comment about the TV's at ride entrances, it would be nice to have ride information and wait times on these monitors instead of on boards. Also to have information centers throughout the park at different intersections.

That's probably true, but remember that CP is "technologically challenged" and things don't happen very fast in that area.

Well T&T did say that they were putting in the TV screens. That is a step in the right direction, so they can't be all that "technologically challenged."
