New ride... place your bets!

The webcam is up today.  As of 9:15 this morning, we have the beach cam.  Can anyone make out any part of the new ride in this one.  Lemme know.  Here's the address to the pic.

of course it'll be tomorrow...it's always a day after everyone speculates....or in this case, a month!!!!

Its 9:29 right now, and it says all webcams are down for maintenance.  I checked last night too and it said the same thing.  I wonder why I can't see it?

I've been saving the pics of the webcam to my computer.  If you switch between the pics, you can see obvious movement on the beach.  One noticeable thing is the crane that's moving.  YUP...I said crane!  If you want me to email you the pics I have so far, just email me or IM me and I will send them to you.  Until then, later guys!  :-)

It is up and very, very current as of 9:59 EST.

Best of all--look at the DISTANCE this cam is from the Giant wheel and Space Spiral....you don't need a cam that far away to capture a 270-foot ride, do you?

Hey, no problem!  I don't know why the cam is so far away, but I hope that we get complete coverage the entire winter months.  Maybe, closest to us is going to be spike or end of the hill or something.  I wish there was a zoom function too!  oh well, better than nothing!

I just called the Cedar Point info line and they told me that they will be announcing the CAPITAL EXPENDITURE PLANS for CP tom. but couldnt give a specific time of when it is gonna happen

If anyone wants my movie of the beach cam from 9:30-11:30 this morning, IM me and I'll get it to ya!  But be careful...it's 5.45 meg file.  :-)

I tihnk the Beach cam debuted in june or july if I'm not mistaken,  could it be possible they were preparing cameras, back in June?  Making Beach cam the first hint.... :)
