Thanks for confirming that. Even though I said that they had started painting them back in October. Makes me happy though (but not looking at all that yellow in that area). Oh well.

If you go to Bay Harbour and eat on your way back you can see the lift hill and it doesn't look the greatest. I wonder if they will repaint the trains though? I think that color green they had with yellow supports will just look terrible, though I could be wrong.

Call me a stubborn German, but I wish they would have kept the colors for Iron Dragon the same. Too many rides have that color. CP should have just done a touch-up. When they did if for Wild Cat, it was cool, but now, I'm not liken it. Before you know they'll be painting, corksrew, then raptor, then magnum all the same color.

Corkscrew was actually repainted during halloweekends of 2003. You could tell how much newer the track looked.

ive seen dragon since it was donr..or almost done and it looks pretty cool to me..i think since it is si intertwined between mantis and ttd that they wanted it to stand out too..i think if the ride is more noticeable maybe it will have more riders...i heard that keller likes all the bright colors and he actually has some say in it..i too like the bright colors..makes the rides more noticeable..

I've said it before, I still think it remains to be true that painting these rides along the "Million Dollar Miday" is a project to try to spruce the midway up a bit. Since they aren't adding new rides to the midway, they might as well make it stand out a bit more for the kiddies. With the renovation of the CP Cinema into GoodTimes Theatre, naming the laser show after Snoopy, and painting ID and Wildcat new, brighter colors, it's pretty evident that they are trying to make that the new hot spot for the younger kids.

People have complained that CP advertises themselves as a family park but has a lack of family rides, well this is probably the park's stab at honoring their marketing campaigns.

Will they somehow fit a brand-new ride geared towards kids in that area? It's looking as though it may be a good possibility.
