NEW Maverick Mock-up

I think most of these people complementing Zbusta have either never used NoLimits or gave up after dabbling with NL. I have to say, it isn't a bad Mock-up for using NL for a few weeks, but like Jeff, I wasn't all that impressed.

After seeing the Screamscape leak I went ahead and recreated Project 2007 but there is no way it is going to see the light of day because I'm waiting for more details on the ride. While I smoothed out all the elements and it looks like a really fun ride, I'm not going to put it out there because it just isn't something that I would want to showcase. It needs scenery, theming, and whatnot to make it worthwhile.

Since I'm pretty sure Keith's rendering being released TOMORROW will kick the crap out of what I could ever do, in addition that I don't have the time to add details to the mock-up, there's no need to try put one out for you guys to see when you're going to see a very nice rendition of the new ride tomorrow.

Good grief, people! Obviously zbusta spent alot of time & effort on his video. That's worthy of some respect. Then he defends his position by saying a news channel is interested in using his creation & that gets torn down too. Yeah, the real world is tough, but is it really necessary to give the poor guy a dose of that when all he's trying to do is selflessly contribute something positive to the group? what's the matter here? it wasn't a contest, and it wasn't a paid job. too rough? too many g's? not realistic? what? who cares?? the guy has an imagination & he's being creative. support that! And by the way, i actually do find "lesbians baking for the homeless" to be newsworthy. anything that suggests building other people up should be news to some of the folks i've seen around these parts. so LISTEN UP!

Of course the mock up wouldnt be realistic, THATS WHY ITS CALLED A MOCK UP! My God its like a snake pit in here. If Zbusta claimed his video to be a recreation of the real thing, then I would have a beef with him. Come on, we know that he is just baseing his video on the placement of footers, speculation, and layed track. Give the man a break. I thought the video was rather entertaining and gave a SENSE of what the current layed track would be like. Good job Zbusta, I hope the vipers don't deter you from making a recreation after tomorrow's announcement.

Im not sure hed be allowed to release the video as his own work. First, he didnt have the full version of FRAPS and Im not sure what Ole Langes stance on that would be since he usually takes care of anything NoLimits that gets used as "promotional" material.

In 12 hours or less you'll see the real thing. Then you can all discuss how much the ride sucks, and the renderings aren't detailed enough, and the ride isn't fast/tall/short/red enough, etc.

red enough?^yeah I thought that was pretty funny too! Hey heres a little question for all to think about.... Do you think it would be more thrilling for the train to come to a complete stop before the launch or to have it slow down before the launch? The reason i made the train stop before the launch is because of this....

That video sure got pulled quickly, didn't it? Who was that guy anyway and why would he think he could get away with it?

Jeff, who is going to say the ride isn't short enough? Probably everyone here was at one time hoping for a 500ft coaster so too much height isn't going to be an issue.
