New for 2015

"Hmm, a hint? After tomorrow, our guests wont be in the dark about what we're doing. Hope that helps!" - Brian Edwards....... Could this possibly mean a dark ride? Because earlier in the season tony tweeted "afraid of the dark" hmmm

Or it could mean that it is not a dark ride as guests won't be in the dark. If he said our guests will be in the dark then it's a different story.

Also Afraid of the Dark may mean 2 things... It could mean that there will be a Dark Ride, or as in "afraid" as in there wont be a dark ride. I know its confusing, someone will know what I mean.

Tony did say that at one point they were going over the five year plan and his reaction was, "are you kidding me?" several times when he heard about the scope of the new projects. He also said that he thought that guests would be very pleased with what they did in the next two to three years.

I think that it could be something big but I think in the short term we're going to see small steps toward the bigger picture.

That would totally contradict what they said about it being a quote "Major" announcement.

Not if it takes a couple seasons to complete.

Like the huge RMC makeover Mean Streak is going to have in 2015/16 (Sarcasm) None the less it could be possible

now this is a crazy thought but what if mean streak (probably not this year but in the near future)got a RMC treatment but the layout was altered and it went out to lake erie and dove into the water, just a crazy idea that came into my head while reading tony's to do list. it seems unethical but a boy can dream right? (:

Hopefully if MS does ever get the RMC treatment it will set records, maybe even turn it into a Hyper Coaster :)

I'll just repost my comment from a couple pages ago since i'm too lazy to write it all out again. Haha.

If something "major" is coming I think it will be a muti-year project that will involve different phases including demolition and possibly, some relocation, maybe a ride refurb, etc. That'll be the 2015 changes - areas will be under construction. Some part of it might be complete and open to the public (ex: moving a ride or refreshing a certain area) but the overall project will take more time. It could span and affect many different areas and that's why it will need to happen in phases.

If they really had something big that would be ready for 2015 I think they would have announced it at some point during the regular operating season so they could generate more excitement. Instead they basically waited until summer was over and everyone left. Yes, they still have Halloweekends but it's not quite the same.

If however they have something planned that won't be fully completed until, say 2016, then announcing during the regular season might have been too early. I think they intentionally waited until the last possible minute and that starting next month we're going to see some changes.

Here's a hint, you will all know what it is in less than 24 hours. I have a feeling you will all be happy. :)

If mean streak ever did get the RMC treatment all I could see changed is obviously making it more smooth and maybe some added inversions and steeper hills/turns.. possibly a little more height but I don't think it would be drastically different as far as layout.

The fact that Tony tweeted "Call RMC" in my mind counts out that even being a possibility. Along with "relocate Mantis, dark ride, etc" That's going back to the whole "non-disclosure" thing that someone previously mentioned.

I am pumped for tomorrow's announcement! Although someone will complain about CP's new addition

Non-disclosure... LOL... C'mon people, he obviously has the blessing from sr. Management to say what he has. In sure tomorrow we will realize that he has given us major hints all along and that would be with the blessing of management... Tony is a smart guy.

Notice that he mentioned Mantis but he didn't say anything about it being floorless. ;)

He should be calling RMC about.... Now!

If Tony said "Jump" would you'd say "Is that the new Dark ride"? ;)

Seriously, I can't wait for this madness to end, and the new wave of madness to begin over the announcement. :P

Oddly enough though...this is actually the only item that could be accomplished today. :)
