^It's actually a good thing that Nickelodeon's not at KI/former Paramount parks anymore, given the quality of the shows that are on Nick today... :P
Oh yeah! What garbage they show on television today! When I said I missed Nickelodeon, I didn't mean just at KI. I meant Nickelodeon itself. Oh well, I guess we never will find out about what happened to Hey Arnold in the cliffhanger finale:(.
Anyways, I am going to the park tomorrow and am going all Batman-interrogation style on those llamas and goats. "What are they?"
Arms Down, Head Back, and Hold On!...Arms Down!...Arms Down......
So I was at the park today. I can confirm that the "construction" on the PR building was just for Boo Hill. However while on Raptor I did notice the back side of the PR building had large doors open and they were taking stuff out of it. This could also just be for Boo Hill but figured it was worth mentioning. Other than that I didn't notice anything throughout the park besides a very large amount of Halloweekends decorations making their ways out onto the midways.

Well, the only thing worth watching on Nickelodeon is The Legend of Korra and since that doesn't appeal to their demographics, they no longer show it on the network and now premier the episodes digitally (since it's audience is made up of teens and young adults who stream it anyways). The old Nick was much better and as someone who uses Netflix to crush nostalgia and destroy my childhood, I can confirm that many of the shows hold up lol
So, I guess in a couple of weeks we'll see what Cedar Point has planned. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint too many of you.
In regards to the thought of a dark ride. Do you really think that Cedar Point would put an indoor dark ride near the Raptor/Blue Street, which would effectively block access to the lake view? Wasn't that part of the benefit/rationale of tearing down the DT to open up the view of the lake?
Wouldn't the center of the park be a better place for such a ride that wouldn't hinder the view of the lake?

Raptor/Blue Streak and the old Pirate ride building are on the Sandusky Bay side of CP. They did want to open up the Lake Erie side when they built GK which really opened up that side and it looks great IMO.
On the Bay side there is already the Marina, BS, Raptor, etc... There really isn't any view to block by building something new over there. After all on the other side of the bay is the "downtown Sandusky"...
