^^ That height definitely ISN'T needed. Sorry, I think you're looking in the wrong direction. Pull out your 2014 souvenir map and read my last post(s) more carefully (if you can find them). This is going back to my original thought early in 03/13 (and a past discussed possible Perimeter Rd. shift from an old thread). Crossing my fingers...

Really... darn I was hoping for a 500' coaster...
And ummm, my previous post - wasn't serious, I thought throwing a 500' lift hill over the top of Raptor would have been the giveaway.
So Rougarou, will be a similar ride to Dueling Dragons at Universal, but to the Raptor? It would fit perfectly in that area if they remove the pirate ride building, cars, and some of point pavilion. That is actually a great guess, comparing to how well Banshee at Kings Island did, and that is a similar setup. Hmm... :/
Arms Down, Head Back, and Hold On!...Arms Down!...Arms Down......
I doubt they will build a Polercoaster (or any 500-ft coaster) just for the sake of having one.
Keep in mind though, I'm one of the few who believe that the days of having the "tallest/fastest coasters" aren't over for amusement parks--I just think CP isn't going to heavily participate like it used to (especially in 2015s addition). I could be wrong though.
It wouldn't surprise me if they still chase new extremes on occasion. However, with the state of the industry, I don't see it happening but once in a long while. What would you really gain from an experience standpoint after 400'? And how much room would a coaster of that height take up if it were to have more elements than TTD/KK?
I bet he will be teasing us for at least another week do to the fact that we obviously don't have the slightest idea of what is going on besides a thrill ride and he knows that. Its just how long he wants to keep us guessing. Although I am sure they have a set day of when to announce I just want to know when so that I can be at the park.
I almost hope its a coaster just to throw everybody for a loop. Tons of hints is what has become the norm. Watch this be something no one was ever expecting.. A dive machine.. A flying coaster.. A Zacspin... A mine cart wild mouse style coaster.. A motor bike coaster...a Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter.. Obviously none of these are likely but I could almost see CP doing something like that.
Firehawk pales in comparison to B&M flyers. I would love to see one at CP. Or better yet, get one at WoF so I could actually ride it more often :)

We'll let Holiday World test out B&Ms 4D first ;)
