FUN is up 2.9% YTD not including the distribution. I am wondering whether the distribution should be included in the total return as 80% of it is treated as return of capital thus reducing the cost basis.
In any event it may take a couple years before the GL purchase is accretive. I am surprised that the secondary offering did not affect the unit price more than it did.
New construction pictures have been posted today.
Actually its more like deconstruction pictures :)

More construction pictures have been posted on 1/3/05. Ten of them to be exact. There sure is a lot of deconstruction going on in the park, but at least its for a good reason ;).

More construction pictures dated for 1/10 are posted on the GL site. They include some interior shots of one of the stadiums.
Morepictures were posted today. Nothing really new, just a lot of snow, some demolition equipment, and a missing arcade building.
I have to admit that seeing the stadiums come down is a little sad, as those probably constitute the majority of my memories from the old Sea World.

^ same here, in fact the water ski stadium and Shamu Stadium are the only two memories I had left of Sea World Ohio. It's really sad to just see them ripped apart by backhoes and bulldozers, they could have been put to some other use.

I disagree. They weren't of much use. I miss what used to take place there, and that's never going to happen again.
