New Department Name

Thanks Jen. I remember you once told me that my guest service skills were good. That should bring in the tips, don't you think? I can handle a busy crowd. It doesn't bother me one bit.
Okay, as the only reigning potty princess in this forum, i'd like to ask what happened to the thread? I was hoping to find out something about how my life is going to be affected by next season's upheavals. Dave Huff is the best manager I've ever worked for. I like Jenn. My foods friends love Jenn. I think next season is going to be great, but she'll be hard pressed to top the Huffer. That said, I'm totally looking forward to this summer. I hope that Jenn's enthusiasm for foods sales comparisons doesn't addle her brain for the important stuff--QUAT 256 RULES!!!! Be a good kid and drink your bowl cleaner. Where's Alison when you need her?
So that's what happened to you, Becca?? :)

I got my contract in the mail yesterday. It said my wage is $5.65 and hour plus tips. I thought that tipped positions were $2.13 or $2.60 an hour plus tips. Is this really true or is it a misprint?
Its true. The reason you have a higher wage is because as a saloon host, you not gonna make a living on tips, they are more or less and added bonus.

Actually, he's going to make a very nice living on tips.. just not as much as a server. That's why it is different. Bartenders make a little more money because they serve hard liquor as well. As for topping Huff! I respect the man too much to ever comment on that :) Or ever think it was any kind of competition. He taught me everything I know about Park Services. As for being the only reigning potty princes in this forum.. well, I don't like the phrase potty patrol, so I will let you keep that title.. Maybe I will even let you borrow my crown :) A few people here have probably seen me in mine.. :) You hope I show as much pride for Quat 256 as I do for Food Sales? I promise you, the Foods employees have had to listen to me talk about Restrooms for years. My office is plastered with pictures of when I was in Restrooms and when I was a sweep ( oh, maybe a few rides pictures here and there too..) When it comes to having Point Pride there are only a few who can top me! So.. you want to know about the department. Hmmm. I can tell you that it is made up of 5 sweep crews, the restrooms crews, and the office cleaners. Office cleaners are third shift, so they are under different supervision. There are 4 Supervisors ( Male/Female supervisor & Male/Female Assistant Supervisor) who are responsible for overseeing the Sweep & Restroom crews. Each crew has a Team Leader and assistant Team Leader( this will be a change for Restrooms.. Male/ Female Team Leader & Male/Female Assistant Team Leader) and it will be the Team leaders who are responsible for weekly schedules, daily assignments, etc ( another change for Restrooms)
Currently Susy Nagy and Brian Polaski are the Supervisors, while Michael McNevin is one of the Assistant Supervisors ( No.. FOODS.. I am NOT taking everyone
I forgot to mention that both the Team Leader and Assistant Team Leader Male positions for Restrooms are still open and the Assistant Team leader Female position is still open. SOrry. It has been a long month, a long week, and a long day. Please forgive me
I forgive you Jenn. I ,for one, gained alot of respect for you when I was in your office a few years back. I saw all those pictures and name tags and you told me about all those job titles you had and I thought to myself "Wow!!" If it wasn't for you, I would have given up on this company a long time ago.
Thank you Jason. That really makes me feel good and it means a great deal. I don't think I deserve all the nice words I get from the employees, so it is hard for me to understand when someone like you tells me something so nice. I love the park and I love what we are all about. The best years of my life have been spent here. I guess I just want to do what ever I can to help all of you feel what I do for this place. Without great employees like you, and a terrific park to work in... I would have just an ordinary job:) Today was my last day in Foods, and it was very hard to say goodbye. I have loved the three years I have been here and will miss it. But, I am really looking forward to this season and everything it has to offer us. Have a great season in Last Chance.. I am sure I will see you there.
