Well maybe not every Saturday, but most...Coasters just about maxes out at a certain sales figure we found out last year and on a normal Saturday that figure is surpassed by Corral and probably even Stockade if they had a REALLY GOOD Saturday (I am big enough to even admit that...). You can go back and check that out and we can discuss figures in another forum I am sure, but that was number was pretty much non surpassable all season, no matter who was working there, and was not touchable to Corrals' Saturday if they had a good one...so maybe they didn't, but if Corral made what they should have made, then Coasters couldn't touch them. Some of the Saturdays weren't like Saturdays for weird reasons, if the park wasn't busy like that then sure Coasters wiped them off the floor cause they were busy all the time whereas the other stands aren't. However if the crowd obliged, then Corral was no match. For goodness sake Coasters only has 2 registers so the fact that they even keep up is pretty amazing. Before someone brings up the fact that their food costs more...yes it does, but considering they have 2 registers to Corral's 10, that still isn't a big factor at all...their food might cost a little more, but they put out more sales on two registers than I think I could have ever imagined...trust me, until you have ever counted a drop bag after a shift that had to be put into TWO drop bags, and almost three at times, then you would know what I mean.
Yeah and I won't say that I wouldn't be shaking in my shoes if you were still in the back of the park Jenn...We have already had that conversation before...in fact I kinda wish you were...it would make my confidence and ego-boosting of my empoyees a little more necessary...as of now we ride on the top with no competition which is cool too, but you know everyone looks for a little competitiveness at times...and hoping that I don't get nice hate e-mails from my 34'ers...I really do hope that the???? ?? ??? ???? ??? ????? ?? ?? ???? ????????????? ??? ?? ??? ?????? ??????? ??? ???????? ?? ??? ?? ??? ???? ?? ? ?????? ? ?????????? ????????? ???? ? ???? ?? ???????? ?? ????? ?? ?????? ???? ?? ?? ???? ?? ??? ??? ? ??? ???? ???? ??????????????????????? ???????? ???????????????? ??? ???? ? ?????? ??????? ???????????? ???? ??? ??????? ?? ???? ?????????? ?? ???? ??? ?????? ????? ??? ???? ???? ???? ??? ???????

Oh well Jenn I just thought I would say that Environmental Services is a cool name...I just thought I would throw that in since this is the topic of the thread...getting a little off track, huh?
And why don't we ever get into this over at CP Pride...that is why Meg and I created it, because people were sick of us arguing over here...plus you would have a lot more input over there I am sure. And Jeff would probably be a little happier! :) No really though, I don't care where we do it, cause my 2 cents will always be present!

Hi Jenn,
Thanks for telling me about my status. Do you happen to remember where you placed me? No big deal, just curious. Thanks and good luck!

ZONE34.. I think you are right and we should probably take it to CPpride.. Penguin.. I placed you at Last Chance.. and WagonBoy, I think you had better think again about challenging 5 & 6 to a contest on actual dollars. Keep in mind that 34 has 10 locations ( most of them small) and wagons, while 5 & 6 has 12 locations ( most of them large) and about just as many wagons. Stockade may not be able to beat Corral in actual dollars, but I don't think 34 can touch the back.. even with Corral and Coasters. Hmmm.. perhaps we shall see.. I'll come on back and take that pie if I am wrong. As for competition.. well, let's see how many times zone 34 ends up in Behind the Lines... as opposed to Environmental Services. Or.. perhaps we could see who ends up in an International Amusement Park Magazine first.. Oh! Wait.. I've already done that ! well.. maybe we can see who will kick the pants off of who when it is time for Pride Week .. I think I'll take that little event with me ( but you can still use it).. ok. Enough. I think I said I was going to take this to CP Pride.. Ooops

10 locations to 12...I still don't think there is going to be a competition...we all have to remember what the business will be like for Factory and Dragons this year with the new ride...those kids don't really know what they are on for I don't think...Time will tell though...like I said though Jenn, don't think that 34 won't do whatever they can to come out on top...so it should be an interesting summer to say the least! :)

Last Chance. Cool!!!!!!! I've always thought about being a barkeeper and I'm excited about finally getting the opportunity. Working in air conditioning will be a plus as well.

Chris, you are a bit tougher to place.. If it were my decision I would probably be trying to decided between a few different positions. I think I would probable be considering one of the full service restuarants.. though I feel your enthusiasm is always greatly needed at Stockade. Then again... Environmental Services has it's merits:)

Hey Jason, I'm not sure how much the word is out on this.. but Saloon Hosts will be permitted to accept tips this year ( Hence the lower payrate). Thought I would let you know, also... that Saloon Host and Barkeep are the samething.. just so you aren't confused when you contract arrives..It's a heck of a lot more stressful than Wagons on a busy Saturday.. But, I think you will like it.

Barkeeps more stressful then wagons? I guess if you are talking about the people sitting on such wagons as the Nutty i would have to agree.
Though comparing a zone 4 wagon runner, not a zone 5 or 6 cuz there zone fits in shoebox rather then 1/3 or the park, to a barkeeper is a lot closer of a comparison then you think.
I sure its stressful making sure you get your drinks to the people at your table, compared to going through 4 pallets of water in 4 hours. And walking it to your table in one building is alot harder then pushing 15 cases on a 4 wheeler from the power tower to the factory only because the trucks were sitting in the back of the park trying to get all the ice bagged possible so you dont here the guests say everything is warm.
Enough about water what about dip n dots? A line from the wagon 25 people long to the train from 11am to 5pm must be an easy shift too.
Remember the hamburger cart? Id say wearing long pants and a white chef's coat over a 160 degree grill while its 100+ out was pretty easy too.
Anyday a barkeep wants to trade up for a runners job on a busy sat, im willing to let them trade, besides the TIP money must be an added extra.

I am just going to plead the fifth here, except to say that as an early Christmas in July present I think I am going to get you both a pair of boxing gloves so that the two of you can have at it! But as for now I think I will just step out of your way and let round three begin! ;)
