Its ridership would greatly increase, but I'm not so sure that a generic, unthemed swinging ship ride is necessarily the first thing you want to see when entering the park.
The path you tread is narrow, and the drop is sheer and very high.
When did construction begin on the intimidators? I know they were announced in early September, but were footers poured prior to the announcment?

Not true......The ride has "boobs" as theming.:)
I think that there is a swinging ship ride at Kings dominion is the first ride you see....so it's not out of the question.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
As has been discussed in the other 2011 thread, removing things for future expansion can be tedious. I'd say there is no chance the stadium will be torn down this year. On the other hand, I think the shows there could get a good boost by building a new ride nearby.

I could only imagine all the room that could be free if they moved the ocean motion, and coral courtyard. Not to mention removing the stadium.
I am not saying that is what's going to happen, just an idea of what it "might" be.

I can't imagine the coral courtyard going anywhere. That needs to be near a pretty large kitchen and it currently is. Ocean Motion, on the other hand, should be easy to relocate and the Oceana Stadium is just borrowing time in my opinion.
It won't likely happen but I'd love to see a nice wooden coaster along the beachfront.

I read somewhere last year that Chaos was for sale. This is in the same general area as the water/sewer markings. Could be nothing but I'm just saying.......
No coaster will ever be too fast or too tall!
Is the picnic area still closed? Random, I know.

Chaos has never been officially for sale. The rumor started when a ride re-seller had one available and used a stock photo of Chaos for the ride's webpage. It just so happened that the photo they used was from the Cedar Point installation.
Now that said, no ride is never NOT for sale. It's just a question of selling price.

Who would want to buy a ride with a bad reputation like chaos?
I think the park is going to have a hard time selling this ride, unless they price it really low.

Only after first saying that it's going to Knotts and everyone wondering why they don't send it to Michigan's Adventure. ;)

Or, bring the ride back to Michigan's Adventure. Imagine the crowds that it would draw. ;)
This isn't the same ride that was at MI. Though there may be some parts on it from there.

Oh right I know that. I'm just not so sure that the general public knows.
