Man, those pictures sure seem like a whole lot of nothing. Piles of dirt, trees, what's the use in taking the pictures? I think the one picture on this site of 2010 watch is just as good as all of those put together.
What evidence suggests that this isn't just Terror Island 2.0?

^ (Cedar Fair tree hating jokes aside) What would the point be in tearing every single tree down for a Halloweekends, when they could be used in conjunction with a very nice walk through haunt. I'm not saying it's defiantly a new coaster. But, I would be very surprised if all this was just for Halloweekends.

I have also mentioned this...it just would not make sense to do it for Halloweekends or for no reason whatsoever.

I'm sure they have a reason.
It's just probably not the reason all the OMG %00 FUT COSTER!!!!11!! guys would like to see.
Goodbye MrScott

Maybe the "useless" pictures are to show what the area looked like. We can come back and look at them when the construction is complete and see how much has changed.
This site did the same thing when Maverick was being built and nobody complained then.
Let's Get Weird.
There are a crapload of the utility flags near MR's queue. They are to the right when walking towards the station. They put a lot of new wood on MR this year. That still does not say that it is staying for sure. IMO. That wood may have already been budgeted out and besides they still have to keep it safe.
Peace, Mikey

Well we all should know that CP is getting some new ride or coaster next year or Pointbuzz wouldn't of created a 2010 watch on the main page for nothing.
That means nothing Viper, sorry but its called a watch for a reason. It is kind of like a tornado watch...there may be something there, but it hasn't been confirmed yet.
R.I.P. Mr. Scott
I was up at the point yesterday and I saw red flags over by the mine ride when you go up the first hill. They are to the right! I know there is something brewing and I think it is fun to do the guess game! It will neat to watch as the summer goes on! I know the last few years I watch the deconstruction of Geauga Lake, so I am looking forward to watching something be built!
Life is like a rollercoaster! It is full of ups and downs
Assuming this is what it appears to be -- that is, a major ride spanning Millenium island and crossing over into Frontiertown -- it will be interesting to see how they handle construction. Do they wait until after the regular season to start work on the island? Whenever they get going with excavating and pouring footers, it will require a bridge for equipment...possibly temporary, but strong enough to handle moving heavy loads across. So if there is going to be any more significant work done over there, it will have to be until Paddlewheel Excursions closes (for the season at least, if not forever). So does PE close early, or do they wait?

...I imagine that flume pieces aren't as heavy as coaster track ;) So a bridge would mostly be supporting just the weight of the vehicles... <fingers crossed>
If it is a new coaster, let's hope that it is more impressive than Kings Islands new Diamondback (it's good...just not great)
Now Ensign - I'm disappointed in you. They don't need now stinkin' bridge. Just use a transporter to beam the stuff over to the island!
How did they get the trucks over there to clear out the trees?
