Adam, I rode very back seat first, and very front seat at night. I liked the front better, it seemed a lot faster than the back.

I'm starting to accept the rumors that CP is getting a water ride. As much as I hate the idea I'll have to live with it.

Is the airtime as forceful as Maverick? I loved Maverick's airtime.

I hardly call most of that as airtime on Maverick. It's mostly extreme ejector.:)

Well yeah, I automatically excused that. That's why I said most.

See, I guess thats my problem. If its not ejector air like Magnum or Maverick, then I just don't care for it. This is probably the reason I don't like Millennium or DB. Oh well.

Then I'm sure you love or will love El Toro. That is some of the most extreme Ejector I've ever experienced.

Been on Voyage. That is the one ride Ive ridden since I started really following coasters that managed to live up to the hype around it. Wow, thats all there is to say about that ride.

There is a chance they were there for the new ride last year, especially if they are for some kind of utilities. In this conference call, Kinzel points out that they convinced a ride manufacturer to delay a ride until 2010.

Actually, here's the link to the appropriate page - its page 6, not 7.

Now since Carowinds got Carolina Cobra this year, I would think that their new ride was originally slated for 2010. But he could be talking about King's Dominion's new Intamin. Maybe not, but he could be talking about CP considering they did not receive anything for the 2009 season. It's anyone's guess, but it is fun to speculate.

He is talking about CP. I don't have a link to the call, but Kinzel mentioned CP specifically with regard to working with "a ride purveyor" to hold off on a project for the 2010 season.

^^ Might want to fix your link, right now it's just "http:///". ;)

TedFuzz. No longer manually signing posts. Too bad. =(
Cedar Point - America's Roller Coast!
Ron Paul 2008/2012!

So I was thinking, with all of those Ohio Edison cement slabs in between the CCMR and the C.P & L.E. railroad, maybe we'll be seeing the railroad moved a few feet towards the lagoon? Those cement slabs come very close to the train when it passes by. I don't think the park wants anyone to be able to reach out from the train cars and grab an electric box.

I will be at the Point tomorrow so I will be sure to take some pictures and see what I can see.

Although it looks like I won't see much.

I kept my seat loose on Diamondback and sat in the back car, and I believe that's how you get the best feeling. It's my favorite ride at KI, which isn't sayin much.

BTW: Firehawk is overrated and not worth the wait!!!

I like Firehawk. However, the only reason ot has a line is because of the horrible capacity of the ride. It takes sooo long to load!

I was at CP yesterday. I looked at the island for a long time from several different angles and did not see anything. Most of the utility flags that were around CCMR are gone. I did see someone drawing and measuring the lockers next to Skyhawk. He was dressed up. No CP nametag. I was trying to find out who he worked for so I asked him where the First Aid station was. He did not know. Maybe they are doing something with the old frontier lift building.

2008 visits = 38, 2009 = 19, 2010 = 11, 2011 = 14, 2012 = 10, 2013 = 14, 2014 = 14, 2015= 13, 2016 = 11, 2017 = 5, 2018 = 3

Mikey pretty much has it nailed. I even made special attention to look at it each of the 5 times I was on Millie and did not notice any differences.
