Someone a few pages back mentioned seeing a crane appear breifly behind Mantis on the Padoga cam. Wouldn't that just be for loading cars on a coaster? I thought they used cranes for that job.

I'm not sure exactly how big millenium island is (I didn't know it existed until I saw this topic and did some research), but would it be possibly for CP to make a family dark ride and theme the whole island to that ride? I'm just not sure of the amount of land they are working with, I saw the photos, but everytime I ride MF I don't seem to notice the island...lol

It should read like this: Odd how Jeff hasn't responded to this whole "he doesn't get paid" subject. Anyways, that is a good thought, however if that ever happened, don't expect either ride to be TOO costly or amazing.

Hows the grammar?
Maybe I should not have fueled the fire with a reference to how this site generates money from the "About Us" page, but honestly who cares.
Jeff doesn't need to reply to this and he shouldn't. Such ramblings about I don't like this or that is childish and selfish. If you don't like how he does things don't come around. If you really don't like something, then don't post or come around. Why do you think my Signature is "Just your usual come and go poster."
To be honest every forum I have ever seen on the web requires proper spelling and this here grammar. It depends on the moderators how well that is managed. Honestly we are all human anyways, so we will make spealllinng and this here grammarish mistakes from time to time, the problem comes from AYCGASLOLSP or All You Constant Grammar And Spelling and LOL Speak People. There is and of course should be consideration for dyslexia, but how do you detect that from text on a screen.... You cannot.
Now bugger off, and lets get back to the real discussion, apparently there is some clearing of land somewhere.. Where is that at again?
Just your usual come and go poster. One week I am here, then I disappear for a while.
OH OH OH!! PICK ME! I GOT IT!! It's on Millennium Island!! :)

I have a life, sonny, and if you stop visiting the site, you'll do us all a favor. Your inability to communicate like a grown up is irrelevant to whether or not I make a dime from this site.
What it comes down to is this: The Internet is full of illiterate morons who continue to demonstrate the failure of our education system, and worse, think it's OK. My corner of the Internet will not be like that. Since I pay for the bandwidth, it's fully within my right to decide how to conduct conversation. It's fully within your right to go play in traffic.
So instead of everyone trying to be funny or part of the in crowd, why not get back to discussing the topics at hand?

My mommy told me to play in traffic once! :(
Did anybody else think of the Budlight commercials when someone said "readability"?
Let's Get Weird.
Back on topic, maybe, if Cedar Point does build a coaster and it's not a GCI, they could get an Intamin Wing Rider. There is only one so far but it looks pretty cool.

Many people say it has some serious head banging, and down time (Duh its Intamin). I'm just going by what I have heard from many others.
Let's Get Weird.
Ok, I wasn't sure. I just thought it looked like fun, and it could go really close to the water that surounds Millenium Island.
The Wing Rider looked as if it could be fun. It appears that there is an element in it that looks like the heartline roll taken out of Maverick.
Shoot the rapids, tame and dry. Thunder Canyon, wet and laughter. Snake River Falls, soaked and smiling. White Water Landing and the old shoot the rapids, Fun and missed.
It does look quite neat, and the site says that a dark portion is able to be included before the launch. The one problem though is that the site says ground hugging, and I don't think the area that has been cleared so far is large enough for a ground hugging coaster.
R.I.P. Mr. Scott
I was thinking that too, but is there enough room that it could go out over the water that surrounds Millenium Island?
I personally would love to see a nice "themed" Gerstlauer Euro-fighter. I love the layouts they come up with and they look sooo fun.:)

The problem with the rides that mount riders outside of the track (the Intamin ride as well as Arrow/S&S's 4th dimension rides) is that they have all kinds of vibration issues. For the record, I haven't been on them, but that's what people have reported. It surprises me that it's a problem on the Intamin ride to some degree, as it doesn't have to deal with the rotation. B&M seems to get it right with the dive coasters, but after seeing one of the cars up close, they're enormous, heavy, and sit on a very wide track.

I can picture a covered bridge with a double trough carring the flume course to and from the island. A cool looking mountain could be built on the island, maybe with a waterfall dumping into the lagoon, where the flume travels in and out before returning to the covered bridge back to the loading platform. Build the mountain further into the lagoon, allowing for the PE boats to travel through a tunnel.
On a side note, I can already imagine the old Finance building being used for a new Halloweekends walk-thru attraction.
