Not to bring down CP, a park I very much so love, but to those of you who think that it is hands down, bar holds none the best park out there, you should really go visit some other parks. SFoG, Holiday World, Hershey, SFMM, any Busch Park... just to name a few. And don't even get me started about some of the overseas parks....

As for the topic at hand, it will be interesting to see how this mystery construction will play out. It's getting me excited for '10 already!

Nobody has said they don't like it or that its terrible. We're saying someone (Disney) is better at it and that Cedar Point should strive to be the best. Currently, they are not.

You aren't making any point to respond to. People can and have compared Disney and Cedar Point. They've done so in dozens of posts. Perhaps your reading is as poor as your grammar?

It can be a really mixed bag. Some of the worst operation I've seen has been on Dueling Dragons, which eats people when they have two trains each (or, rarely, three) and the crew doesn't suck. But the rest of the rides do pretty well most of the time. And of course, the show type attractions are what they are. Stay on property, they have many deals right now, and it includes Universal Express.

And I don't think Jeff makes any money off this. Its a passion, and thankfully he's willing to foot the bill to give us somewhere to discuss the park. If you don't like the way its moderated, go start your own site where you can go on the power trip.

It's not about formality, it's about readability. It's also in the terms of service that you agreed to when you signed up for an account. You can read them again in the stickied posts at the top of this forum.

Having decent rules keeps this place from being a dump like so many other online forums.

Actually he isn't that nice... I wouldn't be either. The money is made in advertising. Internet advertising makes a good penny if done right. The advertising on this site pays Jeff to maintain the site and display their ads so you are suckered into clicking through to their site... Thankfully there are no ad words ads on this site. I hate those the most. Scrolling over text and those stupid pop up suggestions. (Jeff I hope you hate them just as much too, ;))Back to my point. Have you read the About Us page. Read the last line. Makes perfect sense - the corporate goal is to reduce debt in an economic climate where credit is hard to come by - what better way to achieve that than another 20-30M$ ride financed by ultra-expensive corporate bonds!!

I know that this is a crazy thought, but wouldn't be cool if they added another coaster and a family ride in one season? Double the fun and it would make so many people happy.... just one of my crazy thoughts....

Odd how Jeff hasn't responded to this whole he doesn't get paid subject.

Anyways, that is a good thought, however if that ever happened don't expect either ride to be to costly or amazing.
