I like Le Scoot at Busch Gardens Williamsburg is a great log Flume. Hersheyparks Coal Cracker is also a great ride plus a great capacity filer. Love that wheel. I don't care for Log Jammer at Kennywood. PAul Bunyuns Loggin Tobbogan is a great gid flume. Plus a great station.

I find it funny how everyone seems to know for sure it's a water ride. I've still yet to see any solid proof of this.

I'm not saying you're wrong, there's just no concrete evidence yet.

Ok yesterday i went ti the point and Terror Island will be returning. Also someone posted before about a spiral staircase and what looks like a support in the bone yard. I can confirm this. If you are riding Millennium force and you look left and back on the second hill you will see them. The "support" is cubed just like the ones on Millennium, but much much thinner.

^ Hey do the supports look something like this?

I really think this is what they will build.. This flume has the record for the tallest at 135 feet. So could cedar point build a 150 foot one??

I cant identify what ride it might belong too because i only saw it for a few seconds, but i will say theres something in the boneyard that looks like a support. And if i had to take a guess i dont think it would belong to a ride like pilgrims plunge. I could be wrong though.

It seems weird that they would build a ride like pilgrims plunge. It is basically a new version of SRF.

And nothing signifies new construction like the arrival of the spiral staircase.

I saw the spiral staircase too last Thursday. It look like Raptor's staircase to the block brake section.

The spiral staircase has been by Mean Streak since at least Memorial Day.

I'd bet everything I own that the spiral staircase has nothing to do with the next new ride and that it has probably been sitting in the park for years.

Also I'd like to add that there are no supports on site for the new ride.

I kind of find it odd then if the staircase has been by Mean Streak why would they move it to a potential ride site?

CedarPointGeek's avatar

^its not at the ride site its across the lagoon from the ride site.

I actually saw this staircase on its way to the Point the day before someone first reported seeing it there.

It is brand new.

I don't see any use for a brand new staircase other than a new ride. I mean all the others seem to be doing just fine.

Then you need to get your eyes checked. There is a support right next to the staircase. Its a cubed support not a column support. Its grey and its right across from the construction site. I also rode mine ride and IF those cement pads are footers it looks like the support would fit perfectly.

For the record, those concrete pads are for transformers.....not supports. They most likely have something to do with next year but they're purpose is strictly electrical.

The staircase is new and for all we know, it's just being stored in what use to be (and still is for the time being) a storage area. It doesn't mean that it's for the new attraction. It's probably going to replace an existing staircase somewhere in the park. They could just be waiting for the schedule to change to weekends so they can put it in.

And I too have seen the other object in question by the staircase and I highly doubt is for the new attraction. And I highly doubt it's a support (or at least a main support).

"for the new ride" is the most important part of what I was trying to imply. Also I'd like to add, pics or it didn't happen. I just want some proof.
