I agree with some of you in that I am SO SICK of some people in this post acting like they "know" what CP is getting next year...promising it's not this or not that. I'm sure Jeff and Walt know, but the rest of you have absolutely no idea what it is going to be.

If you'd been paying attention, you'd know as well.

A good idea takes into account logic, reason, common sense and any and all available, viable facts. If a good idea is presented, no one smacks it down.

Unfortunately that is not always true. Good ideas get smacked down all of the time and sometimes bad ideas make their way through.

I have no idea what you mean.

Back on topic, I'm pretty sure, since there are definitely coaster supports on the island, that they're building a B&M racing inverted wooden coaster for next year.

Since some of us haven't been paying attention, why don't you fill us in!

this would actually be really cool, but i just don't think there's enough room or time to build a woodie.

Not to mention time to research breaking the laws of physics without killing every rider.

Goodbye MrScott

John

They just need time enough in the cycle to mop out the seats.

I like your thinking...i still think its going to be some sort of water ride/rollercoaster.

but i'm just not sure if that surfer ride would fit at cedar point. cedar point doesn't have a REAL park theme, but i just don't see the surfing theme fitting in anywhere. especially since cedar point has the frontier/western theme in the back of the park.

That may be a good point. But maybe the ride shown was just an example of the ride, and not ALL of them have to be surfing themed. But knowing that the western theme may slightly play into that, I remember how Sky Hawk wasn't completely westerenized, but maybe thats because it wasn't a huge coaster investment such as Maverick. :-l Either way, for Cedar Point the sky's the limit; in fact, wouldn't that ride be really cool indoors? That may make the ride easier to "westernize", as well as adding the "dark ride" element many people have been wanting ever since.......well ever I guess. :-)

You can't read? Seriously - part of engaging in a discussion involves, you know, actually taking part in the discussion.

The informed consensus as to what CP is getting next year has been discussed as far back as page twenty-something, and as recently as a few pages back.

When you add it all up, nothing really makes sense so far. We are flat out being played with, and I'm sure Tony is cracking up over it.

You really think Cedar Point reveals their plans early to Jeff and Walt?

TedFuzz. No longer manually signing posts. Too bad. =(
Cedar Point - America's Roller Coast!

Wasn't that question already answered?

don't be sarcastic. just because i haven't read 20 pages back doesn't make me "not apart" of the discussion. i've posted replies and responses for a few pages back now. you just dont like what others have to say is all.
