This is very sad news, has anyone heard what happened?

It seemed to be working really well most of the day yesterday. Very few rollbacks or breakdowns (at least when I was watching), but then by the time it got dark we noticed it was closed. It makes me glad I rode it early yesterday :)

Oh well, they have all winter to get it working. It's not like there's nothing else to do at CP, especially with Halloweekends going on!

Guess I should have skipped my lunch break yesterday and ran over for a ride. Oh well.

At least I got a ride Saturday.....I just didn't reilize that is was going to be my last.

What was all that luck you guys were talking about? Playing it safe? Lol, I have never looked at this topic, and I just started at page 8 and the chain of events this all took is really effing hillarious.

sigh.....................This is not cool. I was looking forward to riding TTD one more time for the year and breaks down again. I think this ride was a waste of money. I'd rather see another MF for the same pricetag.

Where is the bright side in that statement?

I can't belive that we have been waiting over a month for it to reopen and after 2 or 3 days it is closed yet again for the rest of the season. What is wrong with the ride, its a great ride just put together really badly.

This really sucks because i was so happy when my brother went this weekend and went on it so i got all happy knowing that in two weeks i would get to go on it. This Makes me so disapointed. Ya its just a ride and there are many other rides there but Top Thrill Dragster is such a great ride

I rode it a couple of times this season, one of them was in the front and I developed a newfound love for this ride. I was really looking forward to riding it again this season but I guess not. I was also hoping for it to be open to draw in crowds away from other rides.

I might reconsider my trip now. We'll see you in 06 TTD. :(

After a few second thoughts, I changed my mind. I just hit myself since I tell people CP isn't about one ride all the time. Dumb me, I have to ride Demon Drop, WWL, MF, WT, Raptor, MS, BS, maXair, PT, etc. :)

Well ya know, Kingda Ka is only about a few hours away, so if you desperately need a strato well then here we are! You can get to see what Ka did to Top the Dragster!

Strato whats that mean? Last time I checked the term was Strata Coaster meaning any ride to Top 400 ft. And yes we all see the top 10 rankings and see what KK did to Dragster. hmmmm how come we dont see KK in the top 10 for best steel coasters? but look Dragster is there!

Stratacoaster is what I meant, So then in all technicalility Superman:The Escape was the first strata. I mean it uses old technology so it looks sucky except for the floater air. Well KK aint up there....yet...It had a big breakdown that pretty much knocked it out of this years coaster polls and awards, next year it might be up there, but also remember we dont got as big as a rep as CP, i mean we have a rep but CP's is bigger! Even so if KK tops KK we aint got a damn thing that comes close to MF at GADV, now Superman:Ride Of Steel is a different story.....

Well, seeing that this is off topic, I believe the term "Strata-Coaster" is only given to coasters that actually go over their intended heigth of 400+....which is something SM:TE doesnt do. Sure it can be called one because of its 415foot heigth, but it doesnt actually make it all the way.
