As most of you know, Millennium Force, or "Millie" as most enthusiasts know it as, is coming to it's 10th birthday. This makes me feel old, because I remember waiting the 6 hour line just to ride it. Any thoughts or trips back on memory lane of riding the beast when it first opened?

Speak for yourself. I think that's a stupid name.
My memories are in the bazillion photos from the construction.

^Definitely agree about the name. I can't stand the names people on here have given Cedar Point's coasters. Its kind of creepy and odd if you ask me.
As for Millennium, I still remember my first ride. Around that time is when I discovered Guide to the Point. That was a great site for MF construction photos;)
I'll never forget taking my first ride. The first season they wouldn't let you wait for what seat you wanted, it was first come first serve one train at a time, and we were lucky enough to get the front seat. I'd never been on a ride that smooth, it was pretty incredible.
It was my summer trip after I had just graduated from high school. My brother got married, and the next morning we took the 10 hour road trip to Cedar Point. We stayed in a hotel in Bellevue Ohio, and decided to check the park out because we were so excited for the next day. We arrived at Battery park around 6 in the evening and we couldn't believe it. We saw Millennium Force for the first time. The crazy thing about this is that we didnt even know about the ride. We were just wanting to ride Magnum. It was truly a great surprise and a fun vacation!
Wow, 10 years...unbelievable. I can remember the first year of Magnum as well...4 or 5 years old and relieved that I was too small to ride.
CP better have a birthday party for MF! And instead of giving it a sign for its birthday, some new paint or lights would be nice.
I can't wait for CP to get back to their glory and give us that next true sequel to MF...shattering all world records and seeing that 7 hour line wrapped through the entire park. I miss those days and can't wait for CP to deliver another monster that coaster enthusiasts around the world envy.
