Millennium Force Cable Issue

Did anyone else get a good look at the lift from heading out of the park on Perimeter road? It looked to me like three or more cross members of a piece of box track on the drop side had been painted red.

To better explain. this [\] is a top dowm view of one piece of track. this \ piece was red.

^ My guess is those pieces were damaged by the catch car when it came out. Therefore they are probably going to be removing them and leaving it as is, or removing them and then welding in new bars. Or the least likely and most extreme is cutting out that whole section and having a whole new section but in.

I already heard ALOT of grinding/cutting going on a couple days back. So I guess the question is, are the red pieces marked to be cut out, or are the red pieces the replacements already welded in?

Yeah could they possibly a part of the old Maverick barrel roll?

A barrel roll 1/2 way through Mille's hill, then it might be exciting to me. . .

lol That'd be hilarious. If that's true, it's the first bit of action the dying track pieces have seen since they were transported to ADENA's headquarters.

Edit: Sorry was so excited, trains r running on MF per the funcam, saw it first on registercam, then it moved. Finally verified with funcam it does indeed have trains running on the track!

Not only going on track but going up the lift hill.

I've been watching the register cam but it looks like TTD and MF are both down. Could it be the weather? It looks pretty crappy.

Is that a train perched atop the first hill I see on register cam? The wind is blowing it around so hard I can't tell!

There are definitely test runs going on RegisterCam right now. Awesome work, CP! Everyone seemed to be bracing for the worst, hoping for the best, but this is such a fast turnaround!

Me too WOOT WOOT. I'm going on Sunday and it's my favorite ride.

we were there today and it was running off and on. An employee told us that there were people stuck on it this morning and we tried to get in line and another train got stuck on the hill.
