We didnt realize that the short break down was the reason the line was short and we walked into the que at the right time wondering why security was there. Ride number 6 for me and number 2 for my honey Cindy. Unfortunalety the staff at the picture station deleted a potentially memorable pic of us. lol I could not find our pic and one of the employees said it was inappropriate. All i did is grab my honeys nice booby coming through the tunnel, cuz i was so pumped from the ride lol. We were in the front seat car just lovin it and didnt get the pic shot i had planned prior to the ride:).

taker -- that would be inappropriate in a family setting. They did right to remove the picture.
Ballpoint -- how long has that been policy? Was it like that in 2001 or has the policy changed to that? All I'm saying is what might be standard now (or last year) may not have been the case 4 years ago when that show was filmed.

There can't be sensors on the belts that work on the lift hill. The train isn't connected to any type of computer interface on the lift, and I doubt the belts have any type of sensors at all, even in the station.
Well, I guess it could be wireless. ;) But seriously - the line about there being sensors for the seatbelts is BS.

Has anyone ever thought were those inappropriate pictures go.... You never know, employees might secretly keep them and stuff. LOL

of course, I think Disney cracked down on it and if it is still running, its not getting much new content.

Goodbye MrScott
John
I was just informed by some of my friends and the physics teacher, and they are at Cedar Point today for an early physics day field trip, that the bus can not leave because several kids from our school are stuck on Millennium, and the train before them hit a duck, and broke a girls nose and there was dead duck everywhere. So I guess somehow the train got stopped and they are cleaning up the mess right now, and people are being takin off of the lift with the elevator bucket right now.
I love how false such a rumor as the above is.
The coaster was stuck on the lift hill.
Secondly, CP would never get people off using the mechanic's elevator.
train hit a duck? sounds like BS.
CP did the best they could.
You never know, those workers in the photo station might have smiled.

Yawn, let me know when it hits the news, I just got more news about it from the teacher.
I was informed that around 6:30 this evening that one of the Millennium Force trains hit a 27 pound goose on the track at the bottom of the second hill. I guess this was the first train to depart the station after the rain had moved through the area this evening. I guess the goose could not move off the track quick enough, and the goose nailed a girl in the front and broke her nose, and I guess her blood, and the ducks blood and body was scattered throughout the train landing on everyone, now another millennium force train is sitting up on the lift hill, and people are being given food and water because I guess they can not be let down. I guess the train stopped on the hill because they were not aware of what happened till after the train had departed the station, and then they stopped it right away when they found out what happened.
its a LIE, okay? I was in the queue line when that TRAIN arrived, there was NO PROBLEM with it.
Let me know when your teachers stop making up false rumors.
WTF- why would they stop a train for TWO HOURS on lift hill because of a train "hitting a goose"?
first off, a train NEVER hit a goose, LOL.
second, the only thing that happened was a train getting stuck on lift hill, 4/5 the way up.
lol lol ollolollililillolololo
All I know is I have been told by several different students that there was indeed something a train hit and the students were takin off of the ride within the last half hour.

1. Someone came back to the station bloody after hitting a bird.
2. Ride opererators e-stoped the ride.
3. An investigation must take place before the ride can run again. As a precaution riders have been evacuated from the lift.
4. Until you know the facts, you may want to refrain from saying that someone is a lier. You may end up eating your shoe.

I can assure you that we do NOT keep them. They're just are deleted from the system when that number is used again a little later in the day, like the rest of the photos.

So does anybody know what went on that day. Im lost, I was watching the FunCoast cam, and I did notice that MF wasn't running. I say TTD,Mag. Was I watching a breakdown on the webcam? *** Edited 5/12/2005 1:45:10 AM UTC by daniel smith***
Quote from a Corkscrew ride op, "And Dragster is down again"
There were rain showers today that shut down many rides.
At the end of the day MF had an incident of some sort. I don't know the full story, but here is what I saw from the midway at 8'oclock... There were first aid scooters at the ride and a train full of guests being unloaded from the lift.
The "story" that was going around the park is that a rider was hit by a bird. The ride was e-stopped by employees and the train on the lift was eventually evacuated.

You don't think the geese at Cedar Point fly? That's stupid. How do you think those birds got there? By walking?
The ride could have been dispatched before ops noticed what had happened on the incoming train.
Goose or a duck? Beats me which type of bird it was that ended up suposedly causing the incident last night. But lakeland05, you sir are full of seagull crap if you think that the birds at CP don't fly. Randinator and I are just trying to share with people what may have happened (radinator was relaying 2nd hand info, I was stating what I saw with my own eyes). Believe what you want. I could care less.
Richie A.
I have been hearing a lot of stories so far today, someone said it was a 70 pound goose, a 27 pound goose, a sealgull, and a bird so I have no clue which is right. But all I know is the blue train is still sitting up on the hill. So maybe soon we will hear some news about this.
