I love riding Mean Streak. I have never had any problems riding it. The line is usually never too long, because of it's paralyzing reputation. It usually doesn't have much downtime. I like TTD and MF, but I've never had to worry about a hour wait in line only to have it shut down on me. It was a bummer to see MF broke down last summer.
A few years back my husband got whiplash from MS and had to visit the chiropractor a few times. We've never ridden it since.
Do not mess with dragons for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
that might because you need to know how to ride Mean Streak.

I've had both good and semi-painful rides on Mean Streak, though it seemed like it was running pretty good last season. How you sit definitely affects whether it hurts or not. Keeping your back off the seat back (the so-called defensive riding position) seems to really help.

The new MS!, CP made a MF clone out of wood. Just think about it, a 300ft tall and 93mph way to throw out your back, that is if you live! ;)

Ahahaha, that's exactly what I was thinking of the whole time :)
MS isn't that bad! It's so awesome sometimes, and other's it's just painful...which makes it awesome! I love MS.
What would I do without the Mean Streak? I'm sorry but its an original wooden rollercoaster. It wasn't meant to be a smooth ride.

If you get lucky, the trims on the first drop may be turned off. Depending on how cold it gets, sometimes it needs the extra speed.

I enjoyed my walk down on Mean Streak last year :-P I'm kind of scared to ride it now after it not catching the chain properly and shaking us like crazy...I know it was just a fluke, but...yeah.
And IvyRose, you're my new favorite person on here because of your avatar :-D

I don't know about you guys, but I love Mean Streak. The ricketier if thats a word, the better. If you want a smooth ride go on a steel coaster. If you go on a woodie expect to have it shake like crazy, thats what makes it fun. I leave Mean Streak every time thinking that it wasn't enough earthquake-ness for me.
I rode in the back seat of the gold train yesterday, and I had a very smooth ride. I always like Mean Streak early in the year, it definitely gets rougher as the season goes on.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
I rode Mean Streak saturday (front seat) and had the smoothest ride on it of my life. I only felt about two jerks, and they weren't even that bad.
I don't know how the other parts of the train were, but I hope it keeps its smoothness because I thought it was a good ride before, but now it's even better.
