I love riding Mean Streak. I have never had any problems riding it. The line is usually never too long, because of it's paralyzing reputation. It usually doesn't have much downtime. I like TTD and MF, but I've never had to worry about a hour wait in line only to have it shut down on me. It was a bummer to see MF broke down last summer.
I don't know about you guys, but I love Mean Streak. The ricketier if thats a word, the better. If you want a smooth ride go on a steel coaster. If you go on a woodie expect to have it shake like crazy, thats what makes it fun. I leave Mean Streak every time thinking that it wasn't enough earthquake-ness for me.
I rode Mean Streak saturday (front seat) and had the smoothest ride on it of my life. I only felt about two jerks, and they weren't even that bad.
I don't know how the other parts of the train were, but I hope it keeps its smoothness because I thought it was a good ride before, but now it's even better.
