I've never really experienced a truly rough, headbanging ride on Mean Streak, now headaches caused by screeching wheels, well I have a different story for you there. To be perfectly honest I've ridden a lot of wooden coasters that people claim to be rough and it's the sound the brakes make that kill me, not the ride itself.

even if they wanted to they could not tear ms down because they would need to build 3 new coaster to get most coasters title back

Well then build 3 new coasters... Personally im getting sick the "have to hold the record" thing. I say tear it down and build two coasters, so what if they dont have the record for that year. Its better then keeping the record and having one coaster then 90% of the time I am there is never a line! Its getting worse and worse each year, of coarse everyone has their own definition of worse, but alas its not going to hold much longer..or at least get rougher. Who cares if CP dont hold the record for the most coasters in one park for one year, dont mean I am going to stop going there. Tube it..tear it down , and add at least one or two more coasters.

If CP constantly re-tracks it, then why does it get worse every year?

My buddy and I used to say that you didn't have a good ride on the Mean Streak if you didn't get a little bruised. It's supposed to be a little nasty--it says so in the title.

But the trim does suck.

Magic Mountain hasn't finished building all of their new coasters yet. Cedar Point still have the most coasters.

I have to say your right Cplove..i only had to call my chiropractor twice instead of the usual 4 times..LOL ;) No acutally its better..if you take the first drop..and the first turn out of the equation..its actually pretty good. If they would just bring CCI or someone to make the first banked turn..into a flat turn..it would elminate the need for the trim breaks down the first hill. That would make it one heck of a coaster again! Oh heck..wheres my hard hat..Ill show them what to do with this!
