I dont even think I can name 6 colors, Blue, Red, Green, Yellow, Orange, Brown. then theres pink and black and white, Id be a little mad if the CP skyline became graced with a pink coaster. White or Black would be okay...
I think Wildcat's paint job looks cool, especially since it's geared towards the kiddies. I also think that Iron Dragon's new color is an improvement over those drab grey columns.
Looking back on that ride, it just seems funny that when it was installed ID was one of the main draws for crowds, but now it's more of a junior coaster in comparison to many of the rides at CP. My how the industry has advanced... *** Edited 1/21/2005 2:44:26 PM UTC by CP_bound***

A white coaster with yellow supports would look hot but would look like hell at the end of the season.

101 on Magnum and counting...
I'm surprised we don't see blue and orange together more often. I think it's a nice color scheme and would fit well most anywhere in the park.

I agree. I find it funny, though, that every topic seems to turn into a paint/color debate. Maybe a new forum should be made. There will be: General, Top Thrill Dragster, and then Ride Colours.

Smoking Marijuana isn't a bad thing or even a good one, like everything else, its what you make of it.
I have no clue what I was thinking.

We have Orange in the park besides Iron Dragon. If you look at Magnum, it's like an Orange-Red. You have to look closely. So MaXair will help the color scheme a lot.
I'm glad they picked those colors. Looking at pictures of Talon at Dorney Park the colors look very nice together. Talon has my favorite color scheme of any coaster. MaXair is going to look good.

Just so a new threat doesnt have to be made and this is relatively the same topic, I'd like to say that Walts construction pictures are excellent (as usual) and i look forward to the next set tommorrow!
Does anyone else think in the second picture that it looks really really close to the game building?
this is the picture im referring to:

It's not as close as it seems. I was there with Walt yesterday, and it's a bit of an optical illusion. Also keep in mind that we have no idea what the new facade on the games building will be.
I suspect you'll be able to see this thing in motion from virtually anywhere in the front half of the park. Hopefully it'll draw more people back there.

I like pics you've put up. You guys must have gained a lot of respect from the Cedar Point folks to be able to have more construction pics than the actual CP website. Is it just easier for them to let you two post pics and info. and save their resources, or do they just like you? Anyhow, great pics. I'll enjoy them whereever they are.

They just didn't post the pictures of Security "escorting" them from the grounds. (If escorting is defined as running 10 paces behind).

Yes, and he was being sarcastic. Do you think Walt and I are that stupid?
