Finally! Someone else who has been to Wonderland! I was there in August and I saw Psyclone but I'm really kicking myself for not riding it. When I saw the announcement that Cedar Point was getting maXair, I thought "Hey! its like the thing at Wonderland." They also have one at Paramount's King Island, called Delirium.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
In the last picture it looks like they got some of concrete poured.
Psyclone at PCW is the older version of Huss Frisbee rides. Delirium and maXair are the new Giant Frisbees that swing higher and sit more people. As of right now Delirium and maXair are the only Giant Frisbees in North America.

In this picture, maybe an obvious question, Jeff or Walt could answer cause they were there recently there but what is the structure on the left of the picture...

The refreshment stand is apparently going to be home to the compressors that operate the floor and the hydraulic pumps that feed the six motors at the top of the ride.

Anyone who has been on Delirium, how loud are motors? Also, is there a chance that they'll redo the ugly Transport Refreshments with the carnival games since I think they are connected? That strip of building and that other indoor thing are the only things that always looked bad in the park.

Odd that the foundations are set in little pits like that. I don't recall them being lower than the floor on PKI's ride.

Yea in this picture you can see that they are below the floor.
Ah, there you have it then. I assume they'll fill in the area between the foundations with dirt.

The supports are now being carried over to the footers.
